Karunanidhi, Jaggi Vasudev and Sankaracharya

Atheism, Religion and Politics of “Spirituality”: The attitude of Karunanidhi, a sworn atheist and surprisingly heading a State of Secular India perplexes in any aspect – politically, socially, and psychologically. His mind-set towards Hindu religion, Hindu Gods and Goddesses, Hindu scriptures, Hindu rituals, rites and ceremony has been also intriguing, as he has been passing only sarcastic, caustic and venomous remarks, comments and criticism, whether it is warranted or wanton. The just-past events make Indians to view the inconsistencies, contradictions or inexplicable things crept into similar events but dealt with differently by various people, authorities and others involved. How and why the rulers behave with one group of religious believers in one particular way, whereas with other, they act differently? Is there any selective atheism that one should believe in one god but blaspheme other god? Is there any spirituality that trees [planted by one would grow and planted by others wither away?

Karunanidhi -Tirupati priests

Appeasement or expiation? He called the Grama-pujaris ( Village Temple priests) as “Pandarams, Paradeshis” and so on, but participated in the Conference organized by VHP in Madurai. After coming to power, ironically, he activated the Board for them (in early 2007), obviously to appease them, expiate or repent for the sins committed, if at all, he is believed in it. More irony is the “thanks-giving” functions organized by Gramapujarigal Peravai, a VHP affiliated organization. In fact, though the board was set up in 2001, it did not function in the last five years. S.Vedantham, the Managing Trustee of the Board, who met the Chief Minister (as reported by the Hindu 24-12-2006) brought this to the notice of the non-functioning and he agreed to do the needful.Hindu organisations, led by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, had thus succeeded in getting the demands of lakhs of Grama Koil Poojaris (village temple priests) fulfilled at last when M. Karunanidhi cleared on January 13, 2007, the proposal to constitute a welfare board for village priests in the state. The board is a social security measure for priests of village temples not coming under the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments department that administers bigger temples. A few weeks before the state government’s announcement, VHP leaders including its international vice president Shri. S. Vedantam and state youth wing organiser Shri. R.R. Gopaljee met the Chief Minister to press the VHP demand in favour of Grama Koil Poojaris.

Arrest of Jayendra

The Arrest of Sankaracharya in 2004: On the Deepavali eve in November 2004, Sankaracharya was arrested. Karunanidhi, the arrest in a murder case as an “honest and commendable action.” He hoped that the law would be allowed to take its course without interference. Addressing a press conference here, he said though it could not be denied that the All-India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam Government had “close links with the Sankara Mutt,” its head was arrested. A fast, planned by the DMK and its allies at Kancheepuram demanding the arrest of the Sankaracharya, was not necessary, thanks to the police action, he said.  Karunanidhi said the arrest episode reminded him of the saying, “if a virtuous woman commits a sin she can cleanse herself by having a dip in the Ganges but where will she go seeking atonement if the holy river itself is polluted?” The atheist and secular CM does not apply the same yardstick to all!

Jaggi with his wife Krishnakumari

Karunanidhi kept quite when Jaggi Vasudev was charged with murder in 1997: The following is the Indian Express report as appearing on October 12, 1997 about Police registering a case of murder by Jaggi Vasudev:

Coimbatore, Oct, 11: Close on the heels of scandals relating to fake godmen getting exposed, yet another ashram from Coimbatore is in the limelight with Jaggi Vasudev aliash Jagadeesh of Isha Yoga ashram at Poondi near Coimbatore, being charged with the murder of his wife Viji alias Vijayakumari.A team of police personnel recently visited the premises of Isha Ashram at poondi and interrogated the inmates of the ashram. Godman Jaggi is away in the US.According to police, T. S. Ganganna of Bangalore (father of Viji) had preferred a complaint with the Bangalore Police suspecting foul play in the death of his daughter Viji. The complaintant had stated that his daughter left him last on June 15, 1996. He reportedly received a message on January 23, 1997, from Jaggi Vasudev, stating that Viji was no more.Ganganna said that Jaggi Vasudev had hurriedly completed the cremation on Jan.24 even before they could rush from Bangalore, raising suspicion about the nature of death. He suspected death due to poisoning or strangulation.According to him, Jaggi Vasudev could have caused the death of Viji to facilitate his illicit relationship with yet another inmate of the ashram. Based on the complaint of Ganganna to the Bangalore City Police on Aug. 12, a case was registered. The Bangalore City Police transferred it to the Coimbatore Rural Police. The Coimbatore Rural Police have registered a case against Jaggi Vasudev under Section 302 of IPC (murder) and IPC 201 (suppression of evidence).Later. Isa Yoga Foundatrion has denied reports that Jaggi Vasudev had fled to USA to avoid investigation of ashram. Authorised Signatory of Ashram Kiran stated that Guruji had gone for giving lectures . ENS

Jaggi charged with murder

But nothing is known to the Public or citizens of Tamilnadu or Karnatka. Incidentally, just after the arrest of Sankaracharya, a Catholic priest was arrested in Kanyakumari area for murder, rape etc., Though, initially reports appeared in newspapers, totally there was silence in the media. In fact, about Jaggi nothing came in any TV-Channel, as compared to wide, prolonged and repeated coverage of Sankarachrya. No eminent writer, actress or any other complained or gave interview in SUN or UDAY TV. And Karunanidhi – oh, it did not concern at all. He never comented after reading newspaper said the episode reminded him of the saying, “if a virtuous woman commits a sin she can cleanse herself by having a dip in the Ganges but where will she go seeking atonement if the holy river itself is polluted?” Why, obviously. Because, Jaggi was not arrested! No agitation announced urging the government to arrest. On November 13, 2002, he said laws should be enacted to curb fake godmen mushrooming. Those who introduced such laws must have a progressive outlook and a commitment to rid society of superstition. Awareness should be created among the people to end frauds committed in the name of god, religion and spirituality. The heads of mutts should not misuse religious symbols to cover up their wrongdoings, he said. “We wish that the trial is conducted in a fair manner without any interference. Let us wait and see how things take their course” was his reply to a question on apprehensions raised, considering the Sankaracharya”s “political influence.” On reports of persons holding high offices visiting the Mutt to show their proximity to the Sankaracharya, Mr. Karunanidhi said it was unfair that constitutional functionaries such as the President were made to stand before religious heads. How then, he accommodated a charge-sheeted and murder accused person, sat with him? Before Indian law also, like Karunanidhi, the Saints are discriminated by religion ad ideology? Can the Law and judiciary be ideologized? NYes, naturally, wjen atheist or Communist or Communalist Judges are appointed by the Politicians, how they would deliver judgments?

Karunanidhi supporting Jaggi - 2012

Karunanidhi urges ascetics to follow Jaggi Vasudev’s lead 2007: The nation and the world would be better off, if all the ascetics follow the path shown by Jaggi Vasudev, founder of Isha Foundation, in environmental protection, Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi said on 24-09-2007. Addressing a function organised by the foundation to mark its 25th anniversary, he said he always held in high esteem the religious leaders such as Kundrakudi Adigal and his successor for their service to Tamil. He respected Sri Jaggi Vasudev for his effort at planting of saplings. He preferred ascetics who strove for social uplift to those who focused only on religion. Those who talked of religion alone issued fearsome threats and imprecation, the Chief Minister said, presiding over the launch of a campaign for planting of 2.5 crore saplings. http://www.thehindu.com/2007/09/24/stories/2007092454470500.htmD.R. Karthikeyan, former Director, Central Bureau of Investigation, referred to the agrarian crisis in different parts of the country and said insurance cover and remunerative prices would solve the problems of farmers. Launching the green campaign, Kanimozhi, Member of Parliament, said religion was meant for elevating people, not to divide them. Sudha Raghunathan, musician and devotee of Sri Jaggi Vasudev, welcomed the gathering. They never cared for Jaggi’s involvement. The speech of Karunanidhi during the Silver jubilee function of Isha Yoga Maiyam held at the grounds of Anna University on 23rd September had been interesting to note, as on the same day so many other things were going on. This is given, because, “The Hindu” had given only edited version. “The tree-planting activity has been going on and I get an opportunity to participate. I can understand the love of people in the service of tree plantation who have come from hamlets and villages, which is possible because of the hard work of Karttikeyan and efforts of  Sathguru. I can feel about the attraction of Sathguru”s advice and gracious words reaching hamlets. There have been many Turaviyar. I breathe out with emotion how this land, why any land would have grown with this type of hermits. I had immense regard for the great Hindu saint Kundrakkudi Adigalar. The reason is that he nurtured Tamil. As the present pontiff also works for the Tamil development, I have contact with him. Sathuguru does not grow religion. I love him because he grows trees. One may order to bring head, bring hand, bring tongue only, when he grows religion. But one can give excellent advice to people for good living, if he grows trees. Sathguru does that only. I was really taken aback that he could attract such a large gathering of  people. I feel happy also. It may appear very simple about planting trees now, but it would help for nation”s growth”.Last year, on 16-10-2006, the same type of function was organized. http://www.thehindu.com/2006/10/16/stories/2006101616890600.htm

Karunanidhi supporting Jaggi -tree planting- 2012

Jaggi reacts to Karunanidhi: On 29-09-2007, he reacted as follows on various subjects, including Ramasethu! “Only experts in ecology, heritage and economic aspects should decide what should happen there,” said Jaggi Vasudev, founder of the Isha Foundation, about the Ramar Sethu issue. In an interview to The Hindu he said: “This is not just about Ramar Sethu. (So Karunanidhi asked him to talk like that or his belief did so?) We are doing this all the time. Whether it is the titanium plant in Tamil Nadu or the car unit in Bengal, the SEZs somewhere else, we are trying to decide things on the streets. This is not the way to build a nation. These things must be decided by knowledgeable people, and those who are qualified to do that.”Religion and spirituality: Elaborating on the activities of the Foundation, he said its essential work was spiritual. “There is a very fundamental difference between religion and spirituality. When you say you belong to a certain religion, you naturally say that you are a believer. But the moment you say you are on a spiritual path, you are a seeker. A scientist is a seeker. In fact, they are in the same boat. One is seeking the outside realities. The other is seeking the inner realities.” Speaking on religion, Jaggi Vasudev said most religions probably started as a device for ultimate human well-being. “But these devices, over a period of time, are standing up like demons, ready to devour humanity. Whether they devour or not, they have definitely divided humanity. Unfortunately in a way you can’t unite, at least in the immediate span of time.”  Referring to the event held in Chennai recently, in which Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi participated, he points out that about 4.5 lakh people were present. “With no politics, no God, no enemy, you can’t gather so many people. But now, people are coming just to change their lives. We call it the silent revolution of self realisation.” On the Foundation’s involvement with the Tamil Nadu Government, he said, “For me, this does not mean an alignment with the Tamil Nadu Government or a particular party. People have honoured somebody with leadership. I have no business not to honour that.”‘Ethos of our culture’: The spiritual sciences were woven into the cultural fabric of India. And this science was expressed in the story form because India is a dialectical culture. Somewhere along the way, a few generations dropped the science and carried just the stories. Stories without science get exaggerated to ridiculous levels, he said.  “People should dare to look at life through current intelligence. That has been the ethos of this culture. There is no one book, one belief system we should follow. People can create their own gods. The god-making industry exists only in India and it’s fantastic. Nobody’s interested in God. People think God is a free ticket to well-being. People are interested in well-being.”

Karunanidhi -Hindu thief-- 2013

How Reverence changes from Jaggi to Sankaracharya? The repeated addressing of Jaggi as “Jagathdguru” is interesting in the context, as everybody knows, generally, it refers to Sankaracharya. But he never showed any such reverence to any Sankaracharya. How then, his sudden reverence to “Jaggi”? Of course, he has explained his own yardstick of measuring and assessing Turavis and Samiyars. He can only assess and judge them. Therefore, a dangerous situation is created in Tamilnadu, where certain religious leaders or Gurus are set against other religious Gurus and heads. Here, the religious Heads and Gurus should ponder over what they are upto? Karunanidhi as a CM may threaten them with HR C ” E Act for dire consequences. But, against the God, believers and scriptures, could they stoop down to such a mean level? Can they cheat their devotees and followers?

Hindus are thieves, bandits, barbarians, etc: Some years back in 2002, Karunanidhi drew the ire of some sections when he called Hindus “thieves”. “Do Hindus have a religion? Who is a Hindu? If you ask some right thinking people they’ll say that Hindu actually means a thief. I do no consider that to be a despicable thief, but a thief who has stolen the hearts,” He had stated while addressing a public meeting in 2002 organised by Muslim and Christian outfits to protest the anti-conversion ordinance of the then Jayalalithaa Government. Later, he reportedly clarified that he had merely quoted from a Hindi Encyclopedia published from Varanasi. “It had defined a Hindu as cruel, servant and bandit. Nevertheless, I chose to ignore that definition and softened it to mean as thieves of hearts,” he said – http://www.indianexpress.com/story/219610.html. He could call Hindus “thieves, bandits” and so on. He can call their God Rama a “drunkard” and so on. But none could question him. Even historians and religious heads could support his stand! What sort of secularism or spirituality is followed in

FIR filed against Karunanidhi, case registered against Karunanidhi, but case withdrawn by Karunanidhi: Indians may be having short memory, but what about Hindus? Perhaps, they do not bother about anything! Within five years, Karunanidhi wants to dispose off the case filed against him! What a great ruler! Read the following:

October 24, 2002 – Karunanidhi talks nonsense about Hindus. On November 14, 2003, the Government gave sanction to prosecute Karunanidhi. A chargesheet was also filed and the case was posted for trial. May 21, 2007- On verification on Balasubramaniam, an advocate came to know that on a memo filed by the Public Prosecutor based on a G.O the case had been withdrawn.

Karunanidhi for his recent alleged remarks against the Hindu community, police said on Thursday. The 14th Metropolitan Magistrate Paramaraj had on Wednesday directed police to investigate the complaint filed by one R. Premnath alleging that certain remarks by Karunanidhi had “hurt the sentiments of the Hindus”. The magistrate directed police to register a complaint and submit the preliminary investigation report within three weeks, police said.  Karunanidhi had allegedly made certain remarks against the Hindus at a conference organised in Chennai on October 24, 2002 by the Christian community to protest the anti-conversion law. Govt. withdraws case against Karunanidhi

Chennai, August 9, 2007: The Madras High Court today admitted a petition, challenging a Tamil Nadu Government order, withdrawing a case  against Chief Minister M Karunanidhi, relating to his alleged remarks  against Hindus. A Division Bench of Justice P K Misra and Justice R Banumathi admitted  the Public Interest Litigation and ordered notice, returnable by eight weeks, to Secretary to Public Department and DMK President M  Karunanidhi. In his PIL,Balasubramanian, an advocate, contended that on October, 2002, Karunanidhi made the remarks at a meeting with “a deliberate and malicious intention to hurt the sentiments of Hindus.” His client R Premnath, an advocate, filed a private complaint before a Metropolitan Magistrate. On November 14, 2003, the Government gave sanction to prosecute Karunanidhi. A chargesheet was also filed and the case was posted for trial. On  verification on May 21, 2007, he came to know that on a memo filed by  the Public Prosecutor based on a G.O the case had been withdrawn.

Contending that Karunanidhi after becoming Chief Minister rescinded the previous G.O by the present one, he said Karunanidhi had no locus standi to withdraw his own case. (Agencies)http://chennaionline.com/colnews/newsitem.asp?NEWSID=%7B2634CDA5-AF7F-4E\FB-BCC2-ED7CCAA28ECF%7D”CATEGORYNAME=TAMIL+NADUhttp://chennaionline.com/colnews/newsitem.asp?NEWSID=%7B2634CDA5-AF7F-4\EFB-BCC2-ED7CCAA28ECF%7D”CATEGORYNAME=TAMIL+NADUhttp://www.hindu.com/thehindu/holnus/401200707161970.htm

It is said that no one should sit as a judge in his own case, but Karunanidhi does, because, he has been above Court, Act and rules. This has been a classical case proving that Karunanidhi does not respect law. So it is very dangerous to have such persons as rulers. Even Tiruvalluvar condemns such type of rulers. We do not know whether it is “Dravidian culture” or “Muslim culture”, or “Christian culture” he is following. Robert Clive and Warren Hastings had done such frauds. So can we say Karunanidhi follows them? Sir Isaac Newton has done it in condemning his enemy Leibniz. So can we say Karunanidhi followed Newton? Perhaps, that is why, he used to openly say and do it (We do what we say). No Court, no law nothing. Is it Hitlerism or otherwise? Or we call it “Karunanidhism” which may supercede all types fascism etc? When this is the position of a person occupying the highest chair, what would be the actions of his followers? Would they care for law or not? What would be position of people of Tamilnadu?

Ideologization of Judiciary and courts: The above discussion makes to think about the clear ideologization of Indian Judiciary and courts by the vested interests of Politicians. Here also, typically, the atheist, Communist, so-called minorities have been ganged up against one group. The Judges, Solicitor Generals, Public Prosecutors, ACGSCs, Councils and others at State and Central government level are blatantly nominated by the ruling parties with political and that too ideological affiliations. How then, they could give judgments against Rulers or their appointed masters? Above all, their ideology works at various levels satisfying their psycho-somatic needs. Indians may have to come out of this type of situation. The more irony is that a ruler can withdraw cases filed against himself! If that is the case, what about the cases filed against others? Perhaps, it is very easy. If a CM wants, he can arrest and put in jail ant religious leader or he can share with him in a dias and appreciate his work as divine”! Long live “atheist spirituality”!

It is right time that the so-called Dravidian leaders and others should be subjected to psychological study and analysis to scan out their intention.

What actually, they have contributed to Tamil society or how much they soiled it has to be spelt out specifically by the genuine Tamil lovers. What is the use of going on hating Brahmins, blaspheming Hindu religion and inciting violence against them?

How can a ruler be so blatant in hobnobbing with different people treating them variously?

What is the nonsense of such atheist still heading Hindu Religious and Endowment Board?

Should he not resign or go away from it, if at all, he has any wisdom, rationality or self-respect?

Generations would remember what he told about Rama.

There is no need for further analysis and they can be condemned to calciration straightaway.

They need to be pitied, for pushing themselves into a corner before painting.

The very mouth with which they came to power has pushed them into this position.

They ae not nunals, but different species all together.

They act as vipers sometimes, bark like dogs and lick like dogs depending upon the opportunities and circumstances. The animal characteristics are compared only for driving out the point.

As Karunanidhi ruled and rules Tamilnau, one should find out what he has dobe to Tamil people or indians?

Why they have been crooked, insincere and greedy in sucking peoples’ money and enjoy life?

Why they pretend as if they are angels, but actually do harm to the innocent people.

The raise in disharmony during his reign should also be subjeced to study to brig out the facts.

You mentioned that Jaggi was not arrested, but a sreach in google gives the following details:

“I was in Coimbatore on the day when J Vasudev was arrested for allegedly murdering his wife. He was relatively unknown then and only the local Tamil papers carried the news. We did read about it for a few days before its inevitable disappearance from even the inside pages. If someone could check archives of Tamil newspapers (Coimbatore edition) and get some info on the FIR through the RTI, it might throw some light on the mystery of how his wife could not come back from deep meditation”.

For this, there was a response which says:

You are the second person to bring up this issue of Sadhguru’s arrest. The first was an acquaintance who met the arresting officer Selvam, who is currently dabbling with ’sciences’ like Astrology etc., If I remember correctly the matter of the arrest was brought up by the interviewer in one of the discussions with Sadhguru. Of course, he managed to distract himself exceptionally from the situation……..”.

It is also said that whenever, the details about it are probed or posted in internet, they are scuttled:

    ” Anonymous said…
Is there any one who has access to the Coimbatore newspapers with information about Viji Vasudev’s disappearance? If we did, and someone could upload a scanned image, we could add a wikipedia link on the subject. Some people have tried to post such things in the past on the “jaggi vasudev” page on wikipedia and it was promptly taken down by sadhguru devotees as being “slander.” From personal experience, I truly think this man is a crook”.

    How is it possible?

I have made only comparative study, as the rulers involved act, interact and react discriminatively. That too, when the rulers like Karunanidhi have been atheist and so on.

As you point out if the posted details are disturbed, meddled or made disappear etc., then, it is unimaginable for expressing one in blogging. Perhaps, there is no quarantee for oour postings also.

Of course, we are for truth and the rulers, authorities and involved should clarify when there is any doubt, controversy or contradicting details appearing in the media or web.

Total censoring, editing or blacking out details would not help any truth-seeker or researcher.

After all, if details are suppressed, they can be accessed through different source. However, if all sources are systematically censored or blacked out or hacked out as the IT experts say, then, ordinary people like us cannot do anything.

Anyway, if Jaggi Vasudev was arrested, then I have to change my interpretation of events taken place.

I would be grateful if the facts are brought out in this regard.

Karunanidhi’s selective atheism has been recognized by the people and he cannot fool them hereafter.

His anti-Hindu atheism has been redundant, after his pro-Islamic and pro-Christian postures and stands.

He is an unfit leader to rule secular state, as he has been a real flop in many fronts.

This statement is not made out of any bias or prejudice, but a caeful observance of many elders since early 1960s to 2009s.

As we become old, some times, I am not able to remember immediately.

Ao now, a google search shows that the very same article is there here in wordpress.com also.

The problem with Indian researchers, writers and others is that they do not acknowledge the source. They simply copy, appropriate and go on talking and writing.

The findings, valuable material etc., possessed by some persons, because of their efforts, interest and commitment would be simply appropriated by others and get laurels also many times.

Are you supporting brahmins and brahminism?. Sankaracharya committed sucicidal mistake in claiming we, the humans, have come from God, by advocating advaita principles. How can a human being who is full of defects and imperfections is part of God, a perfect (Puranam) being? If anything comes from God, the perfect being, that should also be perfect being. But, man is not perfect and how can you justify that man is brahmam or Godly. Sankaracharya having done this great disservice to Hindu Dharma can’t be called a jagat guru. Brahmins are responsible for the present dire state of Hinduism for they have behaved all these years as super beings and others are subordinate to them. I think you people will recognise brahmins as Jagat gurus and not others.

    • vedaprakash Says:

My concern has been about the Hindu unity, as many factors work against it.

In Mahabharat, many accuse Krishna for many wrongs, but at what level we can question Krishna now?

In the political context, how a Hindu Sanyasi is targeted, attacked and maligned is debated, and therefore, the question of caste there does not arise. However, politicians play tricks exactly on caste lines, though, a sanyasi has no caste!

“Somasundaram” wrote: “How can a human being who is full of defects and imperfections is part of God, a perfect (Puranam) being? But, man is not perfect and how can you justify that man is brahmam or Godly.”

Those are christian statements. The supposition is entirely christian: that humans are innately defective, owing to the absurd christian notion called “sin”.

Somasundaram is a cryptochristian. There is no disguising that.
He merely left out the word “sin”, but has regurgitated the entire theology surrounding it.

In contrast, a Hindu would never claim that humans are defective as a rule: Hindus have always affirmed that all creatures carry divinity within them, and that allowing it to express itself to the fullest matches the process of coming closer to the Divine.

  9. somasundaram Says:

For some, it is hard to digest if someone other than a brahmin is called a jagat guru or saviour of Hinduism. I accuse brahmins for their strangle-hold on Hinduism which is the cause of dishormony in Hindu society. Anyway, Hindu Dharma does not depend on any one sect or individual to survive.

    • vedaprakash Says:

Kindly note, the moment a person becomes a Sanyasi, he does not have any caste identity. Yet, you harp upon such identity, then definitely “Sanyasam” has to be debated!

Kindly read my posting again in the context.

Legally, if all charge-sheeted Sanyasis, fathers, Imams etc., are to be treated, let them dealt with accordingly, because, it is said that before law, everybody is equal.

But, in India, an Imam is dealt with differently; Bishops, pastors and priests of different Christian denominations are treated differently; of course, the secularism has corrupted the judiciary also, as could be seen from the various judgments.

It is good that all recognize the difference between the religiosity and spirituality.

Jaggi has been openly challenging the Christians in their own land and advocating our Inidan ethos as the only way out for human emancipation. Instead of supporting him these scoundrels are indulging in mudslinging. They deserve the strongest condemnation for their disservice to Hindu Dharma.

The cryptochristian “Somasundaram” further lied: “I think you people will recognise brahmins as Jagat gurus and not others.”

There are Vedic Hindu Rishis whose backgrounds were from various Hindu communities. But here’s a recent example on who the real casteists are:

    – It was *christians* who butchered Swami Lakshmananda Saraswati in 2008 (www.orissadiary.com/ShowOriyaColumn.asp?id=8012, http://www.hindu.com/thehindu/holnus/001200810051766.htm), after christians had earlier made about 8 or so prior attempts on his life (in 2007, a christian mob brutalised him in such a manner he was hospitalised). This Swami’s background, by the way, was apparently a Hindu of a Harijan community: http://www.haindavakeralam.com/HKPage.aspx?PageID=7137&SKIN=B.

    – And it is *Hindus* who revered that genuine Swami. Swami Lakshmananda upheld Hindu religion, as opposed to fake ‘Swamis’ who invent new religions and who deny Hindu Gods, yet will still use those very Hindu Gods and their sacred forms and inculturate on Hindu practices in order to gain converts from the Hindu fold.

I don’t know if it is possible in India, but in many developed countries it is easy to get the arrest record of any citizen. That same citizen could, under certain circumstances, have his record expunged.
So, unless his record has been expunged, the local court in the jurisdiction in which the person was arrested should have the arrest record and should be able to give you a copy (typically for a nominal fee). In fact, the court should be able to share all of the court records (except for records dealing with children and any other class protected by privacy laws of the jurisdiction) it has on anyone – it is not limited to arrest records. I say this to ask, does anyone know if court records can be obtained from the court in the town/jurisdiction in which Jaggi Vasudev was allegedly arrested?

  21. Evol Says:

Also, even if the court does not have records, the police office should. Does anyone know if anyone has tried to obtain the police records of the alleged complaint, arrest and investigation from the police office in the town/jurisdiction in which the arrest allegedly took place? Please note that getting such records is likely to require actual physical presence there as, from what I know, only the absolute most technologically-advanced offices have the technology to deal with a non-physical-presence request.

      Premkumar back in Kancheepuram
      SWATI DAS | TNN | Nov 26, 2004, 19:40 IST

CHENNAI: In a sudden reshuffle effected in the Tamil Nadu police department late Thursday night, the state government brought back superintendent of police (SP) K Premkumar, which is heading the special investigation team in the Shankararaman murder case, in which the Kanchi Shankracharya Jayendra Saraswathi is the prime accused, to Kancheepuram.
Ironically it was just the day before the Varadaraja Perumal temple manager A Shankararaman was murdered, the Premkumar was shifted from Kancheepuram to Cuddalore as its SP. However, he continued to head the investigation team, which was handled by the Kancheepuram SP S Davidson Devasirvatham. According official information, Davidson had sought leave and it was granted. However, Premkumara™s appointment as Kancheepuram SP seem permanent as the Cuddalore SP post has been filled by the Commandant of Regimental Centre Avadi S. Pannerselvam.
It may be recalled that the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa had countered criticism that Premkumar was earlier shunted to Cuddalore because of the murder case, by pointing out that he was transferred a day before the murder on (September 3). She also had pointed out that Premkumar continued to be in the team that arrested the Kanchi Seer on November 11 in Mehboobnagar and also in the investigation. Speculations are rife now if Davidson has been asked to go on leave on “some goof up” in connection with the case.
The reshuffle, however, saw the appointment of a Director General of Police level person heading the intelligence wing of the state police for the first time. Old hand A.X. Alexander DGP (Crimes) will now head the wing. The ADGP S.V. Venkatakrishnan hitherto heading the wing has been swapped to take up Alexandera™s post to head the crime department.
Meanwhile, the Jayalalithaa on Friday, responding to the Prime Minister Manmohan Singha™s letter that the investigation in the murder case should be conducted with “extreme care and consideration”, has assured him that the Seer was treated with utmost dignity.
“As you have rightly observed, the due processes of law must not be interfered with and law must be allowed to take its own course,” Jayalalithaa wrote in her response to Singh.
“Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Swamigal has been treated with the utmost dignity and consideration befitting his religious status and been treated with care and caution considering his age and health condition. A team of doctors has been monitoring his health parameters and has reported that his health condition is quite satisfactory. Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Swamigal has himself stated before the Magistrate that he is being treated well,” she said in her letter.
She further assured the Prime Minister: “You may be assured that the Government of Tamil Nadu is taking and will continue to take the utmost care to ensure the physical well-being of Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Swamigal.”

    Premkumar dismissed
    MAY 23, 2007 00:00 IST
    UPDATED: SEPTEMBER 28, 2016 22:41 IST

    K. Premkumar

    Special Correspondent

He was placed under suspension on September 9,2006

CHENNAI: K. Premkumar, a Superintendent of Police of the Tamil Nadu police service, who is under suspension, was on Monday dismissed from service. Since he was not available at his house, a copy of the order was pasted at the house, in Mogappair here, according to a senior police officer.

Confirming the order of dismissal, a highly placed government source said the action taken by the Government was done as per the procedure that needed to be adopted.

The decision came in the wake of the conviction of Mr. Premkumar by a court in Madurai under Sections 323 and 355 of the Indian Penal Code for assaulting an ex-serviceman in a civil dispute in 1982. He was warned and released under the Probation of Offenders Act. Later, the Madras High Court set aside the order of the lower court and sentenced him to one-month simple imprisonment.

Following this, the Government decided to impose a major punishment under the Tamil Nadu Civil Service (Discipline and Appeal) rules. As per the procedure, Mr. Premkumar was given an opportunity and he made a representation.

It appeared that the Government invoked the second proviso (a) to Article 311(Dismissal, removal or reduction in rank of persons employed in civil capacities under the Union or a State) of the Constitution to dismiss the officer.

The officer was removed from service under rule 8 (VIII) of the Tamil Nadu Civil Services (Discipline and Appeal) rules with immediate effect.

Mr. Premkumar (53) hit the headlines when he investigated the case relating to the murder of Sankararaman, Manager of the Sri Varadaraja Perumal Temple, Kancheepuram in September 2004, and filed the charge sheet in the case.

He was placed under suspension on September 9, 2006 when he was serving as Vigilance Officer, State Transport Corporation, Kumbakonam.

      K. Premkumar (56), a Superintendent of Police dismissed from service, died following sudden illness at a private hospital here on Tuesday.

According to police sources, Premkumar complained of uneasiness on Monday night and was shifted to the hospital where he died shortly after midnight.

He was one of the officers who investigated the murder of Sankararaman, manager of Sri Varadaraja Perumal Temple, Kancheepuram, in September 2004. Premkumar, who was convicted by a court in an assault case, was initially placed under suspension and later dismissed.

    Now, for trial

The Tamil Nadu Police files a charge-sheet in the Sankararaman murder case with Jayendra Saraswathi and Vijayendra Saraswathi as the first and second accused respectively.

Jayendra Saraswathi at the Kanchi Mutt in Kalavai village after he was released on bail.
THE Sankararaman murder case reached a crucial phase on January 21 when the special investigation team (SIT) of the Tamil Nadu Police filed a charge-sheet, naming Jayendra Saraswathi, the senior Acharya of the Sankara Mutt in Kancheepuram, as the first accused and Vijayendra Sarawathi, the junior pontiff, as the second accused. The third, fourth, fifth and sixth accused are N. Sundaresa Iyer, the mutt manager; Raghu, brother of Vijayendra Saraswathi; K.G. Krishnaswamy alias Appu, who allegedly hired the killers of Sankararaman; and Kathiravan. The charge-sheet names 24 persons as the accused in the case, including the five men who surrendered claiming that they had murdered Sankararaman and six others who arranged the proxy surrender.

    K. Premkumar, Kancheepuram District Superintendent of Police, and S.P. Sakthivelu, Chief Investigation Officer, submitted the 1,873-page charge-sheet to G. Uthamaraj, Judicial Magistrate-I, Kancheepuram. Ravi Subramaniam, a building contractor, who was earlier the second accused, has turned approver. Premkumar said Ravi Subramaniam was now prosecution witness-1 and that “he has been absolved of all charges”.

The first six accused have been charged with offences under Sections 302 (murder), 120-B (criminal conspiracy), 449 (house trespass in order to commit offence punishable with death), 201 (causing disappearance of evidence of offence, or giving false information to screen offender), 109 (abetment) and 34 (acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). Various IPC sections, including 302, have been invoked against the remaining 18 accused, depending on the nature of charges against them.

The Kanchi Mutt in Kalavai village.
On January 22, the police detained Sundaresa Iyer and Raghu under the Goondas’ Act, usually used to detain habitual offenders. The SIT officials served the detention order on them at the Central Prison, Chennai, where they have been remanded to judicial custody. Earlier, the SIT detained eight other accused – Kathiravan, Chinna, Ambikapathy, “Mattu” Bhaskar, Meenakshisundram, Ananda Kumar, K.S. Kumar and Anil Kumar – under the Goondas’ Act.

Although a big contingent of mediapersons had gathered at the court premises when the SIT team came to file the charge-sheet, the residents of Kancheepuram, about 80 km from Chennai, were singularly uninterested in the case. Premkumar and Sakthivelu went to the Sri Varadharajaswamy temple, kept the charge-sheet in front of the presiding deity in the sanctum sanctorum and stood in prayer. Then, after the “inauspicious” rahu kalam (10.30 a.m. to 12 noon) was over, they reached the court premises around 12.30 p.m. and filed the charge-sheet.

Premkumar told mediapersons that the charge-sheet detailed the role of each of the accused. All the charges, attracting punishment from three years’ rigorous imprisonment to hanging, have been fixed based on the evidence given by the witnesses, which included corroborative and circumstantial evidence, he said. Fifty witnesses had given confessional statements before magistrates. The charge-sheet cited 370 witnesses and had 712 documents attached to it. The trial would be held in the District and Sessions Court at Chengalpattu.

Premkumar said: “This [the murder] happened inside the temple. It is now Varadharaja Perumal [the presiding deity] versus the Acharya. He [the deity] is the witness and I am only an instrument.”

Vijayendra Saraswathi being taken to the court in Kancheepuram after his arrest.
Sankararaman, manager of the Sri Varadharajaswamy temple, was murdered in his office on the premises of the temple on the evening of September 3, 2004. The Tamil Nadu Police arrested Jayendra Saraswathi at Mahabubnagar in Andhra Pradesh late on the night on November 11 (Frontline, December 3 and 17, 2004).

The police said the motive for the murder was a series of personal allegations made by Sankararaman against Jayendra Saraswathi and his style of functioning as the mutt head. Sankararaman allegedly wrote 39 letters to Jayendra Saraswathi, both in his name and under the pseudonym of Somasekara Ganapadigal, accusing him of selling mutt properties, of misappropriating funds, of not performing pujas regularly, of not observing the rules of sanyasa asrama dharma, and of promoting commercial ventures. Sankararaman also initiated the legal process to scuttle a trip to China by Jayendra Saraswathi. On August 30, he wrote to the Acharya with the “final warning”. After receiving the letter, Jayendra Saraswathi called Ravi Subramaniam, Appu and Kathiravan and a conspiracy was hatched to eliminate Sankararaman, the police said. They alleged that Rs.50 lakhs was paid to the hired killers.

ON January 10, the Supreme Court granted bail to Jayendra Saraswathi, setting aside the order of the Madras High Court, which had denied him bail twice, on November 20 and December 8, 2004. A three-member Bench of the Supreme Court, comprising Chief Justice R.C. Lahoti and Justices G.P. Mathur and P.P. Naolekar, said in their 17-page order that the 39 letters written by Sankararaman to Jayendra Saraswathi did not constitute a motive for the murder.

The Bench said: “In our opinion, the recovery of [copies of] these letters from the house of the deceased (Sankararaman) himself is not a proof of the fact that they were actually received by the petitioner (Sri Jayendra Saraswathi) or were brought to his notice.”

Ravi Subramaniam, who has turned approver.
It ruled that “there is absolutely no evidence collected in the investigation that the petitioner made any kind of protest or took any kind of action against the deceased” though the prosecution argued that the deceased had started making allegations against the petitioner from August 2001. “There is absolutely no evidence or material collected so far in the investigation which may indicate that the petitioner had ever shown any resentment against the deceased for having made allegations against either his personal character or the discharge of his duties as the Sankaracharya of the mutt. The petitioner having kept absolutely quiet for over three years, it does not appeal to reason that he suddenly decided to have Sankararaman murdered and entered into a conspiracy for the said purpose,” the Bench said.

The Bench pointed out that the prosecution’s stand, when the Madras High Court twice heard Jayendra Saraswathi’s bail petitions, was that Rs.50 lakhs was withdrawn from the mutt’s account in the ICICI Bank at Kancheepuram to be paid to the contract killers. Although the Bench directed the prosecution to give particulars of the bank account from which the money was withdrawn, “no documents of the account in the ICICI Bank have been produced in support of the plea which was twice taken by the prosecution before the High Court while opposing the prayer for bail by the petitioner”.

The State government then took a different stand – that Jayendra Saraswathi paid to the contract killers the advance (Rs.50 lakhs) he received for the sale of the Kanchi Janakalyan Trust. But, the Bench pointed out that the Rs.50 lakhs, which was received in cash on April 30, 2004, was deposited in Indian Bank, Sankara Mutt branch, on May 7, 2004 (that is, four months before Sankararaman’s murder). It said: “This belies the prosecution case which was developed subsequently after the order had been passed by this Court on December 17, 2004 directing the State to produce a copy of the ICICI Bank account, that the cash was retained by the petitioner [Jayendra Saraswathi] from which substantial money was paid to the hirelings.”

The Bench described as “very fair” the statement of F.S. Nariman, Jayendra Saraswathi’s counsel, that as long as the investigation was on the petitioner would not visit the mutt premises. It directed the petitioner not to visit the Kanchi Mutt premises until the police filed the charge-sheet. The Bench also ordered Jayendra Saraswathi to surrender his passport to the Chief Judicial Magistrate. Senior Advocate K.T.S. Tulsi appeared for the prosecution.

The Bench, however, made it clear that “nothing contained in this order shall be construed as expression of a final opinion on any of the issues of fact or law arising for decision in the case which shall naturally have to be done by the trial court seized of the trial”.

Jayendra Saraswathi walked out of the Central Prison, Vellore, on January 11, two months after his arrest. He drove to the Kanchi Mutt at Kalavai village, about 45 km from Kancheepuram. The Kalavai Mutt, situated on a comparatively small plot, looks nondescript and unostentatious. A board describes it as “Ashrama Sweekhara Sthal of Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswathi Swamy of Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam” (place where Jayendra Saraswathi’s predecessor took sanyasa). It has also the samadhis of the two Acharayas before the Paramacharya.

Jayendra Saraswathi is said to be observing mouna vratha (silence) but he sometimes speaks a few words to important visitors.

The joy of mutt supporters on Jayendra Saraswathi’s release was shortlived. Hours after the Supreme Court granted him bail, about 70 police personnel led by Premkumar entered the mutt premises at Kanchipuram and arrested Vijayendra Saraswathi. He was produced before Uthamaraj, the Magistrate, who remanded him to 15 days’ judicial custody. The junior Acharya told the Magistrate: “All the charges framed against me are false. I have not done anything wrong.”

THE arrest of Vijayendra Saraswathi surprised some political parties. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had written to Chief Minister Jayalalithaa on January 6 that the Centre had information that the Tamil Nadu government was planning to arrest Vijayendra Saraswathi and expressed the fear that if the government pressed ahead with it, the absence of both the Acharyas would disrupt the daily pujas in the mutt. And this, in turn, would hurt devotees’ sentiments. He added that the law must take its course, but the State government should take this aspect into consideration. When Jayalalithaa met Manmohan Singh in Chennai on January 7, he repeated his apprehension.

Congress spokesperson Abhishek Singhvi described the timing of the junior pontiff’s arrest as “strange”. He said that “questions will be asked about the timing of the arrest” until the police justified why it had not been done so far.

Jayalalithaa replied to the Prime Minister on January 11 that the junior pontiff’s arrest was part of the process of law. She said there had been innumerable occasions when both the Acharyas were away from Kancheepuram and arrangements had been made during such occasions for the conduct of the daily pujas. “In fact, when the senior [Acharya] was arrested on 11.11.2004, both he and the junior pontiff were at Mehboob Nagar near Hyderabad, being away on camp for several days prior to 11.11.2004… . It is, therefore, quite incorrect and unfounded to connect the arrest of the two pontiffs with the tradition of the daily puja at the Sankara Mutt at Kancheepuram,” she said. The mutt refuted this statement, pointing out that whenever they travelled, one of the Acharyas carried the Chandramouleeswara idol and puja was done with no break.

The Bharatiya Janata Party went on the offensive. On January 15, it launched a “national protest week” accusing the Jayalalithaa government of working with a “motive” and seeking “revenge” by filing criminal cases against Jayendra Saraswathi. Former Prime Minister A.B. Vajpayee said the arrest of the junior Acharya on the day the Supreme Court granted bail to Jayendra Saraswathi was “provocative”. Vajpayee said: “We will accept this challenge from the Tamil Nadu government and we are ready for a long-drawn struggle.” BJP leader Sushma Swaraj called the arrest of Vijayendra Saraswathi “the height of persecution”. She told those who argued that the law should take its own course to see for themselves how “the law does not take its own course but takes Jayalalithaa’s course”.

BJP leader Murli Manohar Joshi said the party’s “main demand” was the dismissal of the Tamil Nadu government. Former BJP president M. Venkaiah Naidu said that all the cases relating to the two Acharyas should be transferred to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in the “interests of fair play and justice”. Venkaiah Naidu said the entire episode was turning to be “an assault on the institution of the Kanchi Mutt”. Party general secretary Pramod Mahajan asked Jayalalithaa to apologise to the nation in the wake of the Supreme Court granting bail to Jayendra Saraswathi and demanded that she should resign on moral grounds.

Jayalalithaa joined issue with the BJP. In a seven-page statement issued on January 16, she accused the BJP “adherents” of taking up the arrests issue to rehabilitate their party. “Adherents of the BJP think that religious leaders are above law and no investigation can be conducted against them. It is for the public to think and judge whether their view is right or not… . I cannot yield to their request contrary to the law of the land, especially when I have taken the oath under the Constitution which is of a secular nature,” the Chief Minister said.

She said that when an investigation was under way, even the judiciary cannot intervene in the matter as several judgments had shown. She asked: “That being so, how is it legally possible for me to intervene or interfere in the matter? … When an investigation is in progress in a murder case, how is it possible that the case can be withdrawn?” The Sankararaman murder case was being investigated in the same manner as other such cases in any police station in Tamil Nadu. So, Jayalalithaa said, the stand of the BJP and “other vested interests that I can intervene with the investigation process is purely politically motivated and their expectations are contrary to the rule of law”.

Meanwhile, the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), in a suo motu action, directed the Tamil Nadu government to submit a report regarding some television channels, especially Sun TV, telecasting excerpts from a video-recording of the police interrogation of Jayendra Saraswathi. The NHRC sought a report because “it raises an issue about the rights of a person facing investigation to a fair trial – a constitutional imperative”. The footage was telecast on January 12.

He didn’t really fit into the norms of society. There’s a certain tradition in India, where people just walk through the streets, usually very early in the morning, when it’s still pitch dark. They wake you up with their drumbeats. Intuitively, if they see something, they will tell you; otherwise, they will sing songs in praise of the Lord and walk away. This is a certain tradition within the Shaiva culture, where this particular tribe of people is also involved in snake charming. In the same village there lived a girl in upper caste falls in love with Bilva. Caste hierarchy of those days were very strong and unforgiving. The girl’s family did not like this. The curses and threats did not deter the brave Bilva . So, they made a trap and captured Bilva on a full moon day. They tied him to a tree and decided to kill him in a different way. They took one of his snake and let loose on him and snake bites. He was a great devotee of Shiva. ISHA  mantra, “Shambo” comes from that era. he was a devotee, but not really a spiritual person. Those last few moments of his life, he watched his breath. Cobra’s venom acts on the cardiovascular system. The blood thickens and makes cardiac and respiratory action difficult and ultimately it stops. Poison was all through his body and death a few minutes a new spiritual process begun which changed that person’s future in so many ways. In his next life, he was a very intense seeker of the ultimate nature. People called as Shivayogi. Who is Shiva yogi ? To be continued… #sadhguru #Dhyanalinga #worship #meditative #shiva #sadhguruquotes #adiyogi #first #dailyquotes #quotestoliveby #inward#joyful #motivationalquotes  #inspiration #inspirationalquotes #live #love #laugh #mystic #yogi #spirituality #spiritualpath #spiritualawakening #ishamysore #bilva #sadhgurusribrahma #enlightenedbeing #isha #chakreshwar #bilva

    Sadhguru 2nd Birth – Sivayogi

    View this post on Instagram

Sadhguru – 2nd Birth Shivayogi…. Sadhguru: For one to flower spiritually, the lap of grace is most important. If you have to grow without grace, you have to be literally inhuman to yourself. I know the pain of this better than anyone. After two lifetimes of very intense, truly heartbreaking sadhana, the body anyway breaks. For some people, their hearts break before their bodies break. But there are some others who will not let their hearts break because they have made themselves like stones. So body breaks first, but slowly, the heart also begins to break. These two lifetimes, I was referred to by people as Shivayogi. I explored various possibilities and dimensions, went to any number of places, did absolutely intense sadhana, experienced various states of samadhi, and acquired various capabilities. But still, the real thing had not happened. So, I explored various occult sciences just to track down somebody who could push me across the final step. Because of a certain understanding and mastery over the system, knowing the process of creation within me on many levels, I decided to leave my body and do the search without the body. It was at such a point that my Guru entered my life. He touched me with his stick. And everything that needs to be realized was realized. I was at the very peak of anything can be. My physical proximity with my Guru was just for a few minutes. And it was in these few moments Somehow he identified Shivayogi as a person suitable for establishing the Dhyanalinga, and entrusted this work to him – not in speech or in words, but he communicated the immense technology needed to consecrate the Dhyanalinga. If not for that project which he wanted to be fulfilled through me, my physical presence here would be out of question. Shivayogi wasn’t able to fulfill the Dhyanalinga. To continue this work, he came back as Sadhguru Sri Brahma. #sadhguru #Dhyanalinga #worship #meditative #shiva #sadhguruquotes #adiyogi #first #dailyquotes #quotestoliveby #inward#joyful #motivationalquotes  #inspiration #inspirationalquotes #live #mystic #yogi #spirituality #spiritualpath #spiritualawakening #beauty #life #ishamysore #bilva #sadhgurusribrahma

Sadhguru 3rd Birth – Sadhguru SriBrahma

    View this post on Instagram

Sadhguru – 3rd birth Sadhguru Shri Brahma. He started to work towards DHYANALINGA in Coimbatore, but faced a lot of social resistance from people, and he was literally hounded out of the place. He became very angry that he could not fulfill his Guru’s will and left Coimbatore in great fury, as if on fire. In that anger, he started to walk in no particular direction. Seeing his fierceness, nobody was able to go near him except for one disciple by the name of Vibhuti who followed him. Sadhguru Shri Brahma finally reached a temple in a place called Cuddapah in the state of Andhra Pradesh. It was not preplanned that he should go there, but because his Guru’s blessings and energies were there, automatically he was drawn in that direction. …he sat with his disciple and plotted how to make the Dhyanalinga happen in the next life. Many things were decided there. There, he sat with his disciple and plotted how to make the Dhyanalinga happen in the next life. Many things were decided there – who should be involved in the consecration process, where they should be born, in which womb, how and at what time. They plotted everything. Sadhguru Shri Brahma even decided what kind of a person he should be born as, how his physical body and state of mind should be. Everything was created right there. The fundamental blueprint for the Dhyanalinga was made in that Cuddapah temple. “I will be back.” Then, Sadhguru Shri Brahma came back to Coimbatore, where many people gathered at the foothills of the Velliangiri Mountains. He declared, “I will be back.” He ascended the mountain for the last time and left his body through all seven chakras. #sadhguru #Dhyanalinga #worship #meditative #shiva #sadhguruquotes #adiyogi #first #dailyquotes #quotestoliveby #inward#joyful #motivationalquotes  #inspiration #inspirationalquotes #live #love #laugh #mystic #yogi #spirituality #spiritualpath #spiritualawakening #ishamysore #bilva #sadhgurusribrahma #enlightenedbeing #isha #chakreshwar

Sadhguru Sribrahma Trailer – this movie not being done by Isha or Sadhguru. No connection. But if you goto the village you will know Sadhguru Sribrahma & Jaggi are one and same.

Sadhguru 4thBirth – so who is Sadhguru?

    View this post on Instagram

Who is the Real #Sadhguru? There are people who say that Sadhguru Shri Brahma was the real Sadhguru. Sadhguru: Those people have come with me for the second or third lifetime. For them that is how they knew him. Now when they see that he smiles, talks, and jokes, they think, “This is not him.”. That Sadhguru was so intense, fiery, and uncompromising. He would not even call anyone by name; he just said, “Hey!” These people like the rough and tumble so much that they think he is too soft and too public today. The public never dared to sit with Sadhguru Shri Brahma. That one [Sadhguru Shri Brahma] was fantastic, but it failed in its mission. This one may not be so fantastic, but it has made it work. It is a conscious compromise. Now, we are not trying to chase people away; we are inviting people, doing PR, going around the world talking to people who are lost in their own nonsense. When people who have been with me before see this, they cannot believe Sadhguru is being put through this, because that Sadhguru would have just looked and burnt people, had they behaved like that. This one [Sadhguru today] is not like that. This one is willing to crawl if need be – as long as it works. He took this form in this lifetime because he thought that this is going to work, and it did. By option, he works in both realms – sometimes, he becomes like this; sometimes, he becomes like that. That was a beautiful one; this is a smart one. Only when he was meditating, tears flowed from his eyes. Whether his mother, father, friend, or disciples died, no one ever saw him shed a single tear for anyone. Even when his own mission died, they only saw him more and more furious; never a drop of tear. Now I can shed tears with eyes open or eyes closed. I can hug you, If someone dies, if a tree is cut, I can shed tears. Or I can sit without a tear in my eyes. If you keep looking here and there, if you go “Guru shopping,” you will not get anywhere. They know its same but feel their Sadhguru is the best Sadhguru. Need not appreciate me he way I am today. It is good for they hold onto that because that will be growth; that will be their wellbeing. #God #Spirituality #Heaven #Hell #Devil

I know about alleged Sadhguru wife death, his sour relationship with daughter, his wealth accumulation, his osho influence, his shallow spirituality knowledge in many aspects, his alleged proximity with Bharti, his speedy funeral of his wife & police complaint by his own father in law, his father hates him, elephant land grab, forest land grab, Political connections, luxurious lifestyle, mind washing innocents etc.

So yes if i want to prove Sadhguru is wrong yes i too can stand my ground. Not only Sadhguru i can prove Jesus is fake, Vivekanada etc. as fake.

But the point is am saying i got what i wanted. Its like say the devil is evil. But what i learnt from devil is he is more INTENSE, IMPULSIVE, IMPATIENT and CROOKED to get things done. I got what i wanted but its okay even if its the devil but i learnt to be more INTENSE in my life Now. Be Crooked when i have to & be IMPULSIVE & jump into action and always not think too much at times. Instead of GOD vs DEVIL, i like to say i took God’s love quality and Devil’s WIN AT ALL COSTS quality. I damn care if God wins or Devil is Sin.

So i got what i wanted from Sadhguru, yes i still have many, many doubts on Sadhguru’s GENUINITY, as a fact i speak more ill about Sadhguru and his fallacies. Infact i got MORE on spirituality from critics than anyone else. It was coz of critics like you on Sadhguru, etc others that i went as deep as i could search on Spirituality for many months.

Its like you got what you wanted, now you don’t need yourself as well. You are not in any outside quest anymore.

Its like is there any rule you have to be only SEEKER to be in Samadhi, Spiritual, enlightened or need a guru…NO..

Infact many people just get talented in music, arts, speak foreign languages after they met with an accident.

So for me a person sitting in bathroom, walking on road or eating, watching tv can also become spiritual without his own willing, acceptance, effort or knowledge.

Anyone can become spiritual, enlightened anyhow. Some are conscious they are enlightened, seekers, spiritual, some are NOT.

Basically a fraud baba can make you enlightened, theoretically it can happen right. I can close my eyes and drive, right….offcourse dangers are also equally high. So even if Sadhguru is fraud he could make you spiritual. If he is NOT please move on but DO NOT STOP, till you go beyond the 5 senses.

So if you say you don’t know whether you are enlightened for ME you are ENLIGHTENED. A tree doesn’t know its a tree but gives O2, same way for me i got spiritual through you (i know this sounds stupid) but its coz of You.

Yes you say you are not enlightened which again i completely agree with you.

But if you ask me, yes you are enlightened, i can say yes. But in your experience you say don’t know or NO or different.

As for Sadhguru, i can’t comment coz i never been to Isha, i just attended one inner engineering program, see his videos, search on net, that’s it.

But i got what i wanted from Sadhguru but i REPEAT i got MORE from critcs like you than any available “spiritual cosmos” in this universe.

As for Osho, Sadhguru, All the “Spiritually Matter” that has been said, written, EXPERIENCED it doesnt matter whether its right, who is right. I got what i wanted, but unfortunately person.

POINT is its a personal experience. No two people can have same spiritual quotient. Even if Dronacharya taught me Archery i will not KNOW archery the same way he taught me. There will be changes.

Infact, Dronacharya technically dint teach Ekalvya Archery at all. But there is no denying Drona is Ekalvaya’s Guru. But Drona doesn’t acknowledge this whole heartedly, he doesnt want to be his guru. So it doesn’t matter if Sadhguru doesnt acknowledge his gurus. If a guru doesnt acknowledge that he taught him, a student can to hide his guru. I know its wrong. But i can understand why Sadhguru did what he did.

So if Sadhguru doesn’t acknowledge Rishi, SSY his past master’s, its okay..i can understand why.

Infact Sadhguru Sri Brahma, his 3rd birth, there are people who are alive (Nigiris Villagrle) and they say Sadhguru Jaggi is fake and Sribrahma was genuine.

Infact you can deny that you don’t have or adhere to any “existing definition of spirituality” in this cosmos. But for me, you make 100% spirituality sense with few disagreement i have with you.

As for Mahasamadhi being fake here’s proof. Even if Sadhguru cant die of Mahasamadhi or killed his wife for Arti, i surely know these people died willingly, just sat and left body at will.

Forget humans, yogis, SNAKES know when to Die at will.

Have seen a dying snake? Where do snakes die? In fact, IF YOU ARE AWARE You will know when you are going to die. We breath in prana with the air. And breath out just empty air. When death comes then the process is reversed. We breath in empty air and breath out prana of the body. When all prana is gone we die. Point is everything, including the entire creation is BEYOND THE 5 SENSES. Its not about Death. #Allah, #Bible, #Christianity, #Hinduism, #Jesus, #Christ, #Mysticism, #Quran, #Religion, #RightToPray, #Rituals, #Secularism, #Superstition, #Atoms, #God, #Heaven, #hell, #Idolworship, #Liberation, #Life, #Moksha, #Temple #Universe, #Pagan #Sadhguru #Death #Spirit #Soul #mortality #spirituality

As for Dhynalinga, forget Isha, any temple, idol consecrated as per certain Temple ARCHITECTURE, (eg: Agama Shastra, there are many ways to build temple) has powers.

You just need receptivity to feel it.
I am an young guy, goto work, party, fight, argue, watch movies but i have been also able feel, physically feel the reverberations when i goto temples. Not all, never been to Dhyanalinga till date. But i feel it in Tirupati, Ujjain Mahakal, also few small temples near my home. Spirituality exists, it can bs felt but we need to be receptive. Form me this receptivity happened accidentally. I was just a usual happy go normal guy.

So may be dhyanalinga could be fake but deities, lingas, idols, temples have POWERS. I was never a seeker consciously, but today i can sense it, every time i am in presence of certain energy bodies, my spine shakes, body vibrates, the ecstasy is out of world. It sounds as if i am on drugs or mindwashed. But no, you are on other side of bridge, i am on this side of bridge.

Isha has acknowledged about Auroville building the Dhyanalinga.

    Proof from Isha website.

See consultants at end of pdf file. Yes, you can say the proof is being not publicized in a big way and you can prove its intentional by Isha.

But here Proof from Auroville site. If Isha wanted to hide it, they could have taken care of this part as well.

My only wish, now that you have come so far in spiritual journey, be it Sadhguru or anyone else or just with yourself, go BEYOND the 5 senses. There is SOMETHING that EXISTS & its ETERNAL TRUTH.

Rest is all just a child’s play, a small speck in the cosmos, be it you, your family, your own ABSOLUTE TRUTH about SPIRITUALITY.

My only wish you reach that ULTIMATE in SPIRITUALITY.

As for Land Grab, Elephant Corridor, i am sure you can find truth in 10 minutes if you Google.

Anyway here goes what i want to say –
Good now @SadhguruJV giving OPEN INVITE. JOURNALIST, IAS, IPS, CBI, CID, KAS; even YOU, ANYONE in WORLD visit ISHA ANYTIME, ANYDAY. If ONE ACCUSATION proven illegal @Sadhgurujv will leave country https://t.co/p2lx8i284E

Dont tell from 1992 nobody could PROVE HIM GUILTY for one scam.
Today Rahul, Sonia are on Bail in a scam.

Always see both sides. DIG DEEP, find the TRUTH. Then decide. See clip if Land is illegally acquired by @SadhguruJV https://t.co/4TVb5CLFtA i SAY Don’t trust video also. BEST see Google Earth, See yourself & decide. SET oldest, time, date, year available to till date, see TRUTH.

Any Land docs can be created foolproof for any Land in India by Anyone. Don’t trust CAG report or @ishafoundation documents. Just see satellite video. See #GoogleEarth/any Satellite online. NO ONE can’t change Satellite image, will SHOW what was before Isha Ashram came up there. I am sure bribing Bing, Google, other online satellite maps & changing satellite images is possible easily or even with difficulty? Its impossible.

I repeat, My only wish, now that you have come so far in spiritual journey, be it with Sadhguru or anyone else or just with yourself, go BEYOND the 5 senses. There is SOMETHING that EXISTS & its ETERNAL TRUTH.

Still not convinced, find if Rebirth exists. Just Google it. You will neither be able to prove it fully fake or fully true.

    Anyway, see this about rebirth.

What Happens When You Die Unenlightened? How to avoid Rebirth? (YOU MUST KNOW THIS ) What karma needs to be worked out in astral world for jeevan muktha? It is better to focus on life rather than after life. Take care of the means, the end will take care of itself. If a boiled paddy-grain is sown, it doesn’t sprout. Just so, if a man is boiled by the fire of Knowledge, he cannot take part any more in the play of creation; he cannot lead a worldly life, for he has no attachment to ‘woman and gold’.
