Maintenance of records, auditing etc of “Nirmal Hriday” and “Ministries of Charities” have been irregular, dubious and suspicious exhibiting rot!

Maintenance of records, auditing etc of “Nirmal Hriday” have been fishy: The Missionaries of Charity, which is facing charges of selling newborns to childless couples, has not been able to provide records of births by 280 women at its various homes here, police said on 08-07-2018, Saturday[1]. According to police sources, 450 pregnant women were admitted in various homes, run by the order founded by St Teresa, here between 2015 and 2018, but there are records of only 170 childbirths and no information about the remaining 280[2]. First of all, 450 pregnant women were admitted, how such documents were available could be noted. For 170 deliveries, the required medical instruments, medicines, disposables and other materials could have been accounted. Similarly, for the balance 280, anybody can audit the records and materials available there. In fact, the 280 pregnant cannot lie that they were not pregnant or they did not deliver babies. Therefore, definitely, something wrong with the “Missionaries of Charities.” If they could suppress and destroy all the evidences, then, the issue becomes really serious. Really, it is intriguing to note how these could happen with such internationally famous and well-supported by so many experts.

About missing 280 kids, there were no records, discrepancies in the records – and the incidences occurring thereof: “We are investigating all angles… of the sale of children to childless couple. We have gone through records of the pregnant women and newborn babies. There are discrepancies in the records,” a police official investigating the case told IANS[3]. That there have been “discrepancies in records” prove the existence of documents, partial production and suppression of documents. The scam came to light when the couple, who had taken a newborn from the charity home in May, complained that they had paid Rs 1.20 lakh for medical care and delivery of the child, but the baby was taken back by the charity home with assurances of returning it back after court procedures[4]. The couple complained to the Child Welfare Society after they failed to get the child[5]. According to police, the incident is a case of human trafficking and they are trying to reach its roots[6]. That the nuns [Sister Koncilia / Koshleniea and Anima Indwar] involved have been arrested[7] while another Madhu is still free[8], four babies were sold etc., have already been reported. Now, the investigation, reporting, and discussion are turning towards missing kids and documents[9]. “An FIR has been lodged under Section 370 of the IPC”, said Kotwali Officer-in-Charge Shyamanand Mandal. Section 370 pertains to trafficking of persons.

Why inconsistent reporting, passing remarks etc: A mentally challenged woman, staying in a Missionaries of Charity facility on Jail Road here, delivered a baby on 07-07-2018[10], Friday but sisters at the home insisted that the newborn should be left there only, the woman’s mother alleged[11]. Here, why the words of the mother of the mentally challenged woman would be taken into account is not known. Such  inconsistent reports have been intriguing. The nexus of the Social welfare department, police and others are also visibly understandable. Under the guise of doing service, such activities cannot be criminal and against acts and Rules. When all have been going on in the name of God, it cannot be accepted. The CWC members also should be consistent in their approach in dealing with the issue, instead of confusing the issue, so that the Charities, authorities and others could take advantage. The unwed mothers, babies living here and sold and all the involved would be affected ultimately.

Report of 280 missing kids from missionaries of Charity home untrue: Cops: While all these reports have been based on IANS, Times of India gives different version of the missing kids as follows.  Ranchi SSP Anish Gupta said, “We are investigating the matter but the reports of 280 children missing are not true. There are no such records.” Such reports began to do the rounds after a nun and an employee of Nirmal Hriday, a Missionaries of Charity shelter home at Jail Road here, were arrested last week for allegedly selling a child of an unwed mother for 1.2 lakh to a Uttar Pradesh-based couple. Reporting that there were “No records,” or the report that “no records” were there is “untrue” are to be taken differently? What we have to worry about the fact of missing kinds, than about the maintenance or non-maintenance or missing of maintained records. Though such exigencies “the maintenance or non-maintenance or missing of maintained record” are also against Act and Rules, how they did raise many questions.

An inquiry commission to look into the activities of children homes and shelters located at various places in the state: To avoid a repetition of Nirmal Hriday-type incidents in future, Jharkhand State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (JSCPCR) wrote to chief secretary Sudhir Tripathi asking him to set up an inquiry commission to look into the activities of children homes and shelters located at various places in the state[12]. This appears clearly that these groups started playing politics and the commission means allowing the issue to die a natural death or covering up the whole issue. JSCPCR chairperson Aarti Kujur said[13], “If there is a discrepancy at one shelter home, other centres may too have such problems. We want the government to find out the status of unwed mothers and records of children born at shelter homes.” As regards the sale of Nirmal Hriday children, CWC chairperson Rupa Kumari said, “Police are investigating the matter. Our units spread across the state will start collecting reports on shelter homes as soon as we receive instructions from the government.” Earlier this week, another CWC member Tanushree Sarkar said, After the incident in one branch, we cannot trust the other branches of Missionaries of Charity and we will not be sending children to them for shelter from now on.”

From adoption to baby selling: St. Teresa, who died in 1997, established the Missionaries of Charity in 1950 and now has more than 3,000 nuns operating the sisterhood globally – following in her footsteps to provide soup kitchens, hospices, schools, leper colonies and homes for forsaken minors. The charity also offers shelter for unmarried women, but no longer facilitates adoptions. Once plagued by lengthy wait times, stringent laws and hefty costs, the Indian government sought to streamline the process in 2015 by moving the system online with a national database of the tens of thousands of available children[14]. The Missionaries of Charity however, opposed the changes on the basis it gave leeway for single women and unmarried couples to adopt[15]. And despite efforts to make Indian adoptions more transparent, the black market continues to thrive as prospective parents often find it easier to skirt the legal system and adopt directly from hospitals or orphanages, exacerbating the trade in child trafficking. The State Commission for Protection of Child Rights shot a letter to Jharkhand chief secretary Sudhir Tripathi to investigate into the functioning of all shelters on Saturday amid allegations of child sale racket against the functionaries of Nirmal Hriday, the shelter run by Missionaries of Charity here in Ranchi[16].

Alleged conversion of Vaiko to Christianity, the revelation of controversial evangelist Mohan Lazarus and denial by the Periyarist V. Gopalsamy!

Alleged conversion of Vaiko to Christianity, the revelation of controversial evangelist Mohan Lazarus and denial by the Periyarist V. Gopalsamy!

Vaiko converted, Lazaraus claimed, The Hindu 08-11-2017

Murderers, dupers and unbelievers converted to Christianity!: Many Christian pastors have been accused of forcefully converting people of other faith, sometimes with stories of the eternal fire of damnation and sometimes with the lure of freebies[1]. But what came as a shock to many was the news of MDMK chief Vaiko’s conversion to Christianity, thus reported Asianet Newsable[2]. But, the reality has been none bothered about it, as Indians know the religious deceptions, pious frauds and divine scams have been going on behind such propaganda. As for as people of Tamilnadu are concerned, they know very well popular and notorious ones like A. V. M. Rajan[3] to Auto Shankar[4] (1954-1995) were converted to Christianity. Actually, Rajan was converted reportedly, as he was having some financial problems. As for as Auto Shankar is concerned, it is well knon that he was a hard-core criminal, rapist and killer of several women, thus, he was hanged. Ironically, the Christians caught hold of him before hanging, converted and promised heaven! It is not known, as to whether the inhuman murderer had gone to hell or “Christian heaven”! In any case, the conversion has not been any grace or honour brought to them or to their religion Christianity.

AVM Rajan and Auto Shankar converted

The conversion news coming out through Social media and media also: Now, news has come out in the mdia explicitly that Vaiko has been converted to Christianity and it has been revealed by one evangelist Mohan C. Lazarus. The videos revealing the conversion and Vaiko attending midnight mass and appreciating Christianiy like a preacher quoting Biblical verses have been in circulation for the last two weeks. Therefore, it was neccecitated Vaiko to clarify his position. The evangelist has been controversial with his rude way of criticizing Modi and ruling BJP. In vernacular media, his controversial acts have also been reported, but, he denied. Now, also, no secularist or Dravidian ideologist has come forward to criticize, analyze or condemn the conversion, alleged conversion, denial etc., in the context.

Mohan Lazarus claims Vaiko family converted

Mohan C Lazarus declares that Vaiko has been converted and he is a Christian!: Vaiyapuri Gopalsamy, also known as Vaiko is the founder and General Secretary of the Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (MDMK), a political party active mainly in the state of Tamil Nadu. The claim of Vaiko converting to Christianity was first made by one of Tamil Nadu’s prominent evangelists Mohan C Lazarus. He also claimed in a video that is being widely circulated on social media that Vaiko was reading the Bible twice a day and regularly visits the Church along with his family. They have been baptized. Lazarus also said that Vaiko’s entire family had converted to Christianity. “His daughter and son-in-law are Christians. They are in the US, and every Sunday, they do the service of God. His wife is a Christian. Since he is in public life, he is not able to announce his new faith. He told me that he was reading Bible two times a day and asked me how to pray and I taught him,” Lazarus claimed in the video[5]. He could have produced the baptism certificate issued for Vaiko.

Vaiko converted to Christianity-09-11-2017-Asianet Newsable

Can any evangelist declare that any Dravidian leader has been converted and become a Christian?: Responding to a recent video of Lazarus, in which he states that Vaiko and his family have undergone baptism and converted to Christianity, MDMK deputy general secretary Mallai Sathya said that Vaiko has not made any announcement of getting converted into Christianity[6]. How then, Lazarus could declare so openly? Speaking to News Today, he said that Vaiko is a secular leader, who is genuinely interested in knowing about all religions. “He reads Quran, Bible and Bhagavad Gita to know about them and gain knowledge. This does not mean that he has converted to one particular religion. He is an atheist leader and will continue to be so,” he added[7]. Sathya said that people use his name for their own benefits and we do not take this seriously.  ‘We cannot go behind everyone who uses Vaiko’s name,’ he added. According to Lazarus, Vaiko’s daughter and son in law who live in US are engaged in Christian evangelist work.

Vaiko converted, Lazaraus claimed, News Today 08-11-2017

Vaiko’s reply has not been straight to deny: However, Vaiko has refuted Lazarus’ claims, saying that he hasn’t converted. “I am not a Christian. I respect all religions and my daughter-in-law has a pooja room in which you can see images of all Gods,” he told The Hindu. It was a result of his over-enthusiasm. It’s me and my brother who regularly contribute to the maintenance of the Vinayagar temple in my village,” he further said. He need not explain in this way apologetically, instead of refuting directly. Vaiko said that he had taken up the issue with Lazarus himself as such statements could have serious consequences[8]. He clarified that his daughter had married a Christian and there was no truth in the claim of Mr. Lazarus about others[9]. In Tamil media, he reportedly said that the speech of Lazarus would affect the political condition of the southern districts. So can Vaiko claim that even after becoming a Christian, instead of telling about her, why he says, that, . “……….my daughter-in-law has a pooja room in which you can see images of all Gods,”? Vaiko has been an open supporter of LTTE and had also made a trip to Eelam at the height of the LTTE’s war with Sri Lankan Army which has landed him into a lot of trouble over the years. He was arrested in 2010 for a sedition case filed by DMK. The crypto Christians are as dangerous as the false evangelists spreading satanic news and corrupting the Indian society.

Vaiko converted, Lazaraus claimed, Satya Jyoti- 08-11-2017

Vaiko’s pro-Christian activities and support: In July 2017, Vaiko led MDMK and PMK objected to keeping engraved Bhagawat Gita alongwith the wooden statue of Abdul Kalam playing veena in Kalam Memorial constructed by the Defense Research and Development Agency[10]. Vaiko insisted that Gita should be replaced with Tirukkural. Ironically giving all details, Deepak Aswale concludes that it seems the controversy over communal politics and Vaiko is certainly not coming to end[11]. Vaiko had not only brought a private member’s bill in parliament to give reservation for Dalit Christians[12], but also been campaining for the cause[13]. With his collegue Thiruma also he has bee doing that, though, legally, it is not possible[14]. Thus, knowingly why he has bee doing such propaganda has been intriguing. Here, the double-game of all the Christian missionaries, dalit groups, secular politicians, atheist grups etc., as such reservation is legally impossible, as the Presidential Order 1950 is meant for Hindus.
