The sexual harassment cases of Rajagopal, Ebi George, Habeed Mohammed and Paul Chandramohan: These cases have been simultaneously appeared, circulated and dealt with in the print and electronic media, but, with a clear biased, one-sided and suppressing tactics. Rajagopal issue has been much-much publicized and the target “the PSBB,” than the predator-accused. The sexual harassment case of Habeed Mohammed has been hushed up within a week and none remembers or bothers about it. Perhaps, many do not know also, as they were made to know the PSBB and then Rajagopal. The Ebi George has been the lucky, chosen-one and privileged one in all aspects. Not even his face, photograph or any clear identify has been revealed in the media.  It is shocking, appalling and disgusting to know that the predator-sex accused has been much protected and concealed than the victims. Even, the law and order enforcing authorities, the Child Welfare Committees, Women activist organizations and others have been pathetic in implementing legal action carrying out judicial processes. Is there any secular legalism, secular judicial process and secular court proceedings to do so? The secular Indians may have to wait and see.

The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad demonstrated against “Mr. Paul Chandra Mohan”: The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad on Tuesday (06-07-2021) staged a demonstration here on Tuesday urging the State government and the police to take action against C. J. Paul Chandra Mohan, Head of the Department of Tamil of Bishop Heber College in Tiruchi, who was suspended recently following a complaint of sexual harassment lodged against him by a group of female students to college authorities[1]. Holding placards and raising slogans, the ABVP members demanded the arrest of “Mr. Paul Chandra Mohan” and his dismissal from the college. They also demanded justice for the affected students[2]. The demonstration held in front of the college was organised by the Tiruchi unit of ABVP and led by the its district organising secretary Arun Prasad.

Internal Complaints Committee confirmed the veracity of the complaint lodged by the students with the Principal in March 2021 and submitted its report during April 2021: Speaking to media, ABVP south Tamil Nadu unit State secretary Suseela said the college authorities placed Paul Chandra Mohan only under suspension. The demonstration was organised to seek justice for the affected students. The State government and the police must immediately take action against the faculty member. The ABVP would continue its protest aross the State if he was not arrested. The college authorities recently placed “Mr. Paul Chandra Mohan” in suspension in compliance with the recommendations of its Internal Complaints Committee. The committee had confirmed the veracity of the complaint lodged by the students with the Principal in March 2021 and submitted its report during April 2021. Why then the CSI and the Bishop Heber College have been delaying til June 2021? Why the Bishop should meet M. K. Stalin, CM on 29-06-2021 and decided to only suspend“Mr. Paul Chandra Mohan”  on 30-06-2021?[3]

The biased report of “The Hindu” about “Mr. Paul Chandra Mohan”: Note, the way “The Hindu” reports, as if the ABVP was alone interested in demonsrating against the sexually harassing “Mr. Paul Chandra Mohan,” whereas the other student and women organizations are not interested.  The SFI, DYFI, AIDWA and others – not known as to why they are not demonstrating or against this particular sexual harassment case. “The Hindu” has been addressing and mentioning him as “Mr. Paul Chandra Mohan,” as if he has been a Great Soul on the earth. As N. Ram has been reportedly Communist and accommodating more leftist news, articles and stuff in The Hindu, Frontline etc., it is quite evident that again in this affair also, he has decided to do so. Incidentally, this news appears / appeared only in the “Trichirappalli edition.”

From “Mr. Paul Chandra Mohan,” to “C.J. Paul Chandramohan,” who has been arrested on 07-07-2021– “The Hindu” way of reporting: The Tiruchi City Police on Wednesday 07—07-2021, arrested the suspended associate professor and Head, Department of Tamil, at Bishop Heber College, C.J. Paul Chandramohan on charges of sexually harassing some women students of the college a few months ago[4]. The arrest of Paul Chandramohan comes a few days after he was placed under suspension by the college authorities in compliance with the recommendations of its Internal Complaints Committee, which had confirmed the veracity of the complaint, which a group of postgraduate women students had lodged with the principal in March this year. The Committee had submitted its report during April 2021. The alleged sexual harassment had happened during offline classes conducted in the college in February 2021. The Associate Professor was alleged to have used double engenders during the classes.

February to July, 2021 – the long process adopted and adapted to research into “alleged sexual harassments”!: Police sources said Paul Chandramohan was arrested based on a complaint preferred by the District Social Welfare Officer, Tiruchi A. Thameemunisa with the Srirangam All Women Police Station. The Srirangam All Women Police registered a case against Paul Chandramohan under IPC sections 354-A (sexual harassment), 354-D (stalking), 294 (b) (uttering obscene words in or near any public place), 509 (word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman) and section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Woman Act, said the sources[5]. Prior to lodging the complaint, the District Social Welfare Officer had conducted an inquiry into the allegations[6]. Ms. Thameemunisa had visited the college recently and examined the complaint and related documents besides the action taken based on the report of the Internal Complaints Committee[7].

“the complainants were reluctant to file a formal complaint” – the serious issue: “As the complainants were reluctant to file a formal complaint, an inquiry was conducted on order of the Collector to verify the authenticity of complaints. Based on the outcome of the inquiry, we have now filed a complaint at the Srirangam station,” a source from the department said[8]. R Sakthivel, DC (Law and order), Tiruchy city, said[9], “Based on the complaint of the Social Welfare Department, we have arrested the accused. Further investigations are underway. He will be remanded shortly.” The news reporting – “As the complainants were reluctant to file a formal complaint”, and others – have been perplexing, contradicting and confusing also, as it has already been reported that the complaint letter of one girl student has been published in the media. How then that complaint letter has not gone to the police? Moreover, based on the complaints of the girls in February 2021, the proceedings were going on slowly to July 2021. Then, what happened to the complaints made by the girls in February 2021?

1. When the accused have been charged with the same and similar violation of Acts and Rules, they have to be subjected to legal processes without and favour or leniency.
2. There is no question of accusing “Brahmanism” in the case of PSBB, but keeping quite in the case of Mosque and Church run schools and colleges.
3. It is shocking, appalling and disgusting to know that the predator-sex accused has been much protected and concealed than the victims.
4. Even, the law and order enforcing authorities, the Child Welfare Committees, Women activist organizations and others have been pathetic in implementing legal action carrying out judicial processes.
5. Is there any secular legalism, secular judicial process and secular court proceedings to do so?
6. The secular Indians may have to wait and see.
7. Let the legality and judiciary prevail.

23-04-2021 the four accused arrested at the Tindivanam resort (Friday): The Chennai police have arrested the priest of a church and three other relatives of a minor girl who was allegedly sexually abused by them on 23-04-2021, Friday[1]. The arrests came almost 10 days after her mother, a playback singer, lodged a complaint[2] (made on 12-04-2021). The complaint alleged that the girl was sexually harassed by the pastor when they took her to him under the pretext of exorcism[3].The accused were picked up from a farmhouse in Tindivanam on Friday and remanded in judicial custody[4]. A special team of police personnel led by the police inspector Amutha apprehended the four who were hiding in a farmhouse[5]. Though the suspects allegedly informed that they have been falsely accused, police remanded them in judicial custody as the victim reportedly stood her ground[6]. Police, not elaborating (Refusing to elaborate on the kind of abuse the victim was subjected to….[7],) on the kind of abuse the victim was subjected to, said that the priest touched her inappropriately when she visited the church and her uncle too did the same while bathing her when she was below 10 (some years ago[8]).

Why Shekinah group evangelists have bee following exorcism?: As pointed out, suddenly, “the Hindu,” reported that, “The complaint alleged that the girl was sexually harassed by the pastor when they took her to him under the pretext of exorcism.” In Andhra, she has been carrying on evangelism and “Halleluah Aradhana” musical events with huge publicity. Thus, it is evident that her ministries, Alive Church and others have been protestant denomination having contacts with foreign countries. She continued to participate and attend, many international Christian conventions and posing photos with the foreign representations and delegates. Therefore, why and how her group could have involved in exorcism, has to be noted carefully. Just few days back, another pastor Scott David has been arrested for the same sexual exploitation and exorcism. Therefore, under the guise of “counseling,” “healing,” and other methods, they try to deal with women who have personal, family and domestic issues and problems. As the Catholics have they system of “confession,”  the protestants might try to adopt and adapt psychological methods to solve such problems. However, when the involved pastors exceed limits, that result is sexploitation, pedophile sex and molestation activities.

The stands of Grandmother, mother and grand-daughter: Here, so far themother has been the complaintant against her sister, brother-in-law and his brother and a pastor. But, now, grand-mother comes into picture reportedly informing the media, that her one daughter tried to implicate another and so on, surprises, because, earlier, she did not come to picture to defend or oppose any daughter. Moreover, the grand-daughter issue has to be dealt with judiciously, as the case aready been booked under the POCSO Act. Therefore, the women involved cannot digress or divert the issue.  When, the grandfather died, the accused daughter was seen with bible near the dead body opening and closing it. Incidentally, the accused pastor was also seen near by accompanying doing the same. Therefore, a doudt arises as to, whether they tried to give any Chritian last rites like ritual. Thus, the grandmother coming to rescue the Christian daughter against Hindu daughter natiurally raises such questions.

The Hindu, Hindu Prasanna and Christian Shekhinah Shawn Jazeel: A Google search gives “The Hindu” coverage of many concerts of Shekhinah Shawn performed and in fact, it sponsored the “Opera Night” onducted at the Museum theatre on Sunday, the 22^nd April 2012 by Augustine Paul. Her stories appeared in “The Hindu,” as claimed be her in her facebook and cutting appended in her photo album. However, it has not given such accommodation to “Hindu Prasanna.” Thus, Shekhinah Shawl Jazeel carries more weight with “The Hindu,” as it s well-known for the editorial policy being against Hindu interests, as many nanogeneraians and others above 60 have been noting for the last 40 years.

Why the media wants to suppress the identity of the accused: As pointed out, if the news appeared in the leading English and Tamil dailies, the identity of the accused has been suppressed compleletely. How the print ad electronic media reacted and still have been reacting with the cases of Premananda, Nityananda, Devanathan etc., is too wellknwn to be repeated here. Even in cinema, jokes, comedy scenes and funy episodes are played under the guise of “humour” and so on, but, the Christians have been continuoysly involved in the pedophile sexual criminal cases internationally and nationally involving Indian victims or the Indian pastors, but, they are not given much publicity. Though such cases have been reported and booked, they are made to go un-noticed. Now, also, as Christians are involved, the details are suppressed.

The Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012 has been brought in 2012: To deal with child sexual abuse cases, the Government has brought in a special law, namely, The Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012.

• The Act has come into force with effect from 14^th November, 2012 along with the Rules framed thereunder.
• The said Act defines a child as any person below eighteen years of age, and defines different forms of sexual abuse, including penetrative and non-penetrative assault, as well as sexual harassment and pornography, and deems a sexual assault to be “aggravated” under certain circumstances, such as when the abused child is mentally ill or when the abuse is committed by a person in a position of trust or authority vis-à-vis the child, like a family member, police officer, teacher, or doctor.
• People who traffick children for sexual purposes are also punishable under the provisions. the gravity of the offence, with a maximum term of rigorous imprisonment for life, and fine.
• The police are also required to bring the matter to the attention of the Child Welfare Committee (CWC) within 24 hours of receiving the report, so the CWC may then proceed where required to make further arrangements for the safety and security of the child.

Here, in this case, these procedure are followed or not, is not known.

The identity of the victim and the accused: According to the Section 23 (2) of the POCSO Act, – No reports in any media shall disclose, the identity of the child including his name, address, photograph, family details, school, neighbourhood or any other particulars which may lead to disclosure of identity of the child.

Provided that for reasons to be recorded in writing, the Special Court, competent to try the case under the Act, may permit such disclosure, if in its opinion such disclosure is in the interest of the child. However, it is not known, how the names of the accused are mentioned sometimes, relationships  noted other times and even the version of the grandmother is reported, but, the details are presented in the news in a fuzzy, vague and nebulous manner.

The captions of the news printed, the contents and other details have been vague, ambiguous and indistinct, though, in between, certain details are reported just in one line (e.g, the practice of exorcism).

In Secular India, wht the elite, egalitarian and superior Christians claim their past caste identity and engage in evagelization?: In India, as a “secular” nation, every citizen has a right to follow and profess any religion and therefore, being Mohammedan, Christian, Jew, Jain, Buddhist, Hindu etc., has not been any issue. Every believer can expound abut his religious belief-system, but, such attempts could not cross and violate the religious belief-system of others. The question of freedom of expression, thought, writing also is covered under this condition. Thus, the concerted Christians need not claim that they are Brahmon Christians, Nadar Christians, Vellalar Christians, Dalit Christians and so on. As they claim, once anybody converts and becomes Christian, “in Christ all become one,” none can claim or boat of his past caste tag. Mentioning caste and believing Christ make such claimants duplicities, cheats and swindlers. Thus, the “Halleluah-Shekinah” need not harp upon that she, “was born in a Brahmin Hindu family”!

Madras High Court Judge amends his own Judgment after pressure from the Christian politicians, officialdom and clergy! Is India secular?

13-08-2019 – Christian institutions were highly unsafe for the future of their children: Justice S. Vaidyanathan accepts request to remove observations about Christian missionaries. The Madras High Court on Tuesday 20-08-2019, agreed to remove a contentious paragraph from one of its judgments since it was related to accusations faced by Christian missionaries of indulging in forcible religious conversions and supposed “general feeling” among parents, especially of girl children, that co-educational Christian institutions were highly unsafe for the future of their children[1]. Justice S. Vaidyanathan agreed to delete the relevant paragraph from his verdict in a case filed by a Madras Christian College (MCC) professor accused of sexually harassing girls during a study tour to Karnataka in January this year. The decision to delete was taken after the MCC counsel made a representation in open court on 20-08-2019, Tuesday and urged the court to remove the observations[2].

What the para 32 of the judgment said: The controversial paragraph read: “Before parting with the judgment, this Court feels it appropriate to point out that Christian missionaries are always on the source of attack in one way or the other and in the present era, there are several accusations against them for indulging in compulsory conversion of people of other religions into Christianity. Now, there is a general feeling amongst the parents of students, especially female students that co-educational study in Christian institutions is highly unsafe for the future of their children and though they impart good education, the preach of morality will be a million dollar question. As long as a religion is practised in streets in lieu of its worship places, like Temple, Mosque, Church, etc., such devastation, as in the present case, does occur and will be mushrooming.”

21-08-2019 – the Judge deleted the para no.32: Since the judge had dismissed the writ petition filed by the faculty challenging a show cause notice issued to him by the college management, the counsel said the subsequent observations added by the judge after dismissing the case were unnecessary and that they may not remain part of the judgment. The judge readily accepted the request. He, however, retained other observations wherein he had said that several women-centric enactments had been misused to teach a lesson to men in strained relationships. “This is the right time to think of suitable amendments in those laws, in order to safeguard the interest of the innocent,” the judge had said and directed the High Court Registry to mark a copy of his judgment to the Union Ministry of Law and Justice. The judge said[3], “When the court posed a question as to whether the court can remove Paragraph no.32 at this stage in the absence of any review petition – as the court becomes functuous officio after signing of the order – it was replied that there was no request for reviewing the entire order and a particular observation, which was general in nature was sought to be removed. Such removal will not in any way alter the findings/decisions of the court and therefore, there was no bar for this court to remove the Paragraph no.32, which was inapplicable to the present case on hand, especially when those points were not at all urged, canvassed, advanced or discussed by either of the counsel at the time of argument in the open court,” adding, “In view of the above submission and considering the fact that the general observation in Paragraph no.32 has been made by this court after the result portion, which will not at any cost affect efindings/substance/contents of the order, the said Paragraph no. 32 of the order is hereby deleted“, the judge added[4].

How is that Christian and Communists could sing the same song immediately?: Justice Vaidyanathan had said parents felt that Christian co-education institutions were highly unsafe for the future of girls. Days after Justice S. Vaidyanathan of the Madras High Court commented in an order that parents felt that Christian co-education institutions were highly unsafe for the future of girls, several groups, including the Tamil Nadu Bishops’ Council (TNBC), the Tamil Nadu Latin Bishops’ Council (TNLBC), the All India Democratic Women’s Association (AIDWA) and the Indian Christian Association of Tamil Nadu expressed concern over his remarks. What this AIDWA was doing when so many girl students of the MCC complained, news appeared in the media and they protested in the college? Were they not conscious about the chastity of the girls, standards of the college or the values of the Christians etc?

21-08-2019, the Christians and the Communists threaten and 21-08-2019, the Judge bends and mends!: The judge made the comments while dealing with a sexual harassment case involving a professor of the Madras Christian College. In a statement issued on 21-08-2019, Monday, TNBC and TNLBC termed two of Justice Vaidyanathan’s observations — that there were “several accusations against Christians for indulging in compulsory conversion of people of other religions into Christianity”; and that there was a “general feeling among the parents of female students that co-educational studies in Christian institutions is highly unsafe for the future of their children” — regrettable and unwarranted[5]. “First of all, the case is not in any way connected with the question of religious conversion. Therefore, the said observation on religious conversion was unwarranted,” said Rev. Dr. Antony Pappusamy, Archbishop of Madurai and president of TNBC and TNLBC[6]. Regarding the observation about female students being unsafe, Dr. Pappusamy said, “We wonder what the material and data placed before the honourable judge were, that led him to render such a finding. As such, from a cursory reading of the factual matrix in that particular case, we do not find any institutional material warranting such an observation.” He also again endorsed a copy to Ministry of Law and Justice for making necessary amendments[7]. This has created controversy among the legal circles[8].

Valentina, State president, AIDWA: In a statement, S. Valentina, State president, AIDWA, said that when the words from a judge could become a law, the baseless accusations of the judge could have a serious impact on the welfare of minorities in the current socio-political climate. “A judge could have a particular view on a subject or could adhere to a specific political ideology. But when the judge is delivering justice, the judge should be impartial and wear the glasses of the Indian Constitution,” she said. AIDWA urged that the comments be withdrawn. Can anybody ask S. Valentina , State president, AIDWA, as to whether she made such statement against the Judge as a woman or Christian or otherwise? Where was Valentine when those Christian professors were harassing the girls, touching their breasts and barging into their rooms? Is it OK for Valentine all such sexual acts?

The Indian Christian Association of Tamil Nadu said it was deeply hurt: The Indian Christian Association of Tamil Nadu said it was deeply hurt by Justice S. Vaidyanathan’s remarks in the sexual harassment case involving the Madras Christian College.“The sweeping statement that there is a general feeling among parents that co-educational study in Christian institutions is highly unsafe for the future of their children, especially female students, is based on conjectures and surmises, and the comments [should] be expunged from the judgment,” said Dr. Ravi Santosham, president, Indian Christian Association. “The judge’s statement about compulsory conversions is baseless and totally irrelevant to the merits of the case.”

Catholic bishops’ forum in Tamil Nadu, The National Council of Churches in India, etc cry foul[9]: Christian leaders said the judge’s comments were painful but they welcomed the court’s decision not to interfere with the decision of the college, which British Protestant missionaries established in 1837. “The remarks the judge made in the order are highly disappointing,” said Father L. Sahayaraj, deputy secretary of the Catholic bishops’ forum in Tamil Nadu. The comments could “damage the image of the Church and the reputation of its education intuitions,” the priest told ucanews.com. The National Council of Churches in India, a forum of Protestant and Orthodox churches in India, said the comments were hurtful[10]. “We are hurt and sorry for such remarks in the order,” said general secretary Asir Ebenezer. “Christians work with commitment and diligence. Unfortunately, we are blamed and our places portrayed as unsafe. It really makes us sad.” The Tamil Nadu Catholic Bishops’ Council in an official statement termed the observations “very unfortunate.” It said conversion or the safety of Christian schools were not the issues before the court. It was one “relating to sexual harassment by a professor and the college has taken necessary action against him without any excuse.” The council also said Christian educational institutions have “produced stalwarts” in India, including Hindus and Muslims. Prabhakar Tirkey, national president of the Rashtriya Isai Mahasang (National Federation of Christians), said the court seems to have forgotten that “not a single Christian has been convicted” for violating conversion laws in the history of India. He noted that Christian missionaries introduced English education some five centuries ago but when the British left India in 1947, the Christian population was less than 3 percent, and “now it is 2.3 percent.”

Political and Minority bogey pressures: The MDMK chief, V. Gopalsamy, reportedly converted to Christianity, as being proclaimed by the Christian evangelist and propagandist C. Lazarasus, immediately came to question the judgment and his video has become viral.  Then on 19-08-2019, Geoge Kurian, Vice Chairman of National Commission for Minorities writes an open letter questioning the judgment.  On 21-08-2019, the Christians and the Communists threaten and 21-08-2019, the Judge bends and mends. Thus, wthin days, they could achieve what they wanted or decided. How is that then, eve rything is controlled by RSS, BJP and so on? Who rules India really? How much of Christian interference and how it works and all, have been proved again through this incidence.

All rapists, pedophiles and other sexual charge sheeters are good: One can recall how the Sha Bano judgment was rescinded by bring another Act, just to placate Muslims and promote Muslim vote bank. So you can forget all the crimes committed by the Christians – the murder of Abhaya, rape of nun by Mulakal, rape of children i.e, Christian pedophiles, sexual harassment, and every thing. All have become good souls, only the affected have been unholy, satanic and dangerous.  The charged, accused and other sinned Cardinal, bishops, pastors and clergy have been redeemed.  An none could question the Christians whatever crime they committed. The Bishops, Churches and above all Vatican are supreme, the Indian judges, courts etc., are nothing. They obey only Holy Sea, Spirit, God etc., not the Indian Constitution, Acts and Rules made there-under.

Letters and documentary evidences prove the men rea of the rapist bishop: In a July 12, 2018 letter to Cardinal Oswald Gracias of Mumbai, president of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of India, and another of the same date to Archbishop Giambattista Diquattro, apostolic nuncio to India, 168 people asked for action against Bishop Franco Mulakkal of Jalandhar[1]. The letter asked Archbishop Diquattro to “advise Pope Francis to relieve the bishop concerned of his pastoral responsibilities so that the Church is seen to actually practice the zero tolerance it professes to observe in abuse cases.” The signatories include representatives of the Indian Theological Association, a forum of Catholic theologians; the Forum of Religious for Justice and Peace, an advocacy group for women religious; the Indian Christian Women’s Movement, a national conference of women religious and others; and the interdenominational United Christian Forum for Human Rights[2].

Sister Rejeena Kadamthottu, Mother General of the diocese accuses raped nun: Serious allegations were raised against the nun who brought out sexual abuse allegations at Jalandhar Bishop Franco Mulakkal by Sister Rejeena Kadamthottu, Mother General of the diocese, in which the nun belongs[3]. She told Mathrubhumi News that the she had received a complaint that the nun, who filed complaint against the bishop, had maintained illicit relationship with another person[4]. The Mother General said that the nun’s relative in Delhi submitted the complaint that the nun had illicit relationship with her husband. In the complaint, the relative alleged that the nun and her husband were involved in an illicit relationship and hence she was on the verge of committing suicide. As this complaint was beyond her authority, she handed over the complaint to Bishop Franco Mulakkal who heads the Diocese. “Subsequently, the church conducted a probe over this. But the nun was not ready to cooperate with the probe,” Sister Rejeena said. She also alleged that the nun has come up with allegations against the Bishop fearing disciplinary action. “The nun gave the letter raising allegations against the Bishop in June 2018. However, I have not received any such complaints against the Bishop before. Nobody had bad opinion about the Bishop,” Sister Rejeena said.

Sister Regeena’s campaigm appears disgusting, unbecoming and anti-woman: Ironically, this news appears to be planted as it is none of Regeena’s business to research into another woman’s personal life, when, she does not bother about the complaint made now[5]. One woman wanted to have sex with another man or not does not give any authority for Franco bishop to rape a nun for one or many times. As a woman, that too with authority of “The Mother General” and all, it is unbecoming for her to speak before the media degrading womanhood[6]. In fact, she should have felt ashamed for the behaviour of the Cardinals, bishops, pastors and other priests who are continuously involved in many crimes[7]. Thus, the nuns supporting the rapist bishop on one or the other pretext is  disgusting, unbecomibg and anti-woman, when the Christian missionaries, propagandidst organizations and others have been aggressively campaiging as if they are the sole selling agents of human rights, women rights, child rights and so on!

The taped conversation between the nun and the Cardinal released – 19-07-2018: The conversation on a four-minute audio tape surfaced a day after Alencherry told investigators that he had not received any sexual assault complaint from the nun. Hindustan Times could not independently ascertain the authenticity of the audio-taped conversation. But the 43-year-old nun is heard complaining against Mulackkal in the purported conversation that took place in December, six months before she registered a police complaint, accusing Mulakkal of raping her 13 times between 2014 and 2106. Alencherry is heard saying on the purported tape that he will say he was unaware of any complaint if the police approached him. He is heard advising the nun to settle everything on her own and not to drag others into it. The police have found he was at the convent when the nun was allegedly raped after checking the visitors’ diary. The police have recorded the nun’s statement before a magistrate court. They have also rec- orded statements of other nuns and employees at the convent.

Jimmy Poochakkat accepted the tape conversation, but, as usual claimed that it was edited[8]: Syro-Malabar Church spokesman Father Jimmy Poochakkat admitted the two spoke in December, but insisted the audio taped conversation had been edited to defame the church[9]. “It seems the conversation is not complete. It is being used to show the church in a bad light.” If that is the case, again, it is proven that the whole affairs of rapping is well known to the Church, even at higest authority, yet, they wanted / want to suppress the sexual crimes. Moreover, he should come out with the facts, who are interested in editing such tapes. Alencherry reiterated he had never received any sexual abuse complaint from the nun when Vaikkoam deputy superintendent of police K Subhash-led police team recorded his statement. “The cardinal had informed us that the nun had told him about some issues at her convent. However, he did not receive any complaint of sexual assault,” said Subhash. The nun has maintained she was forced to approach the police after many including Alencherry ignored her complaints. The nun’s father and brother also claimed to have complained to the church superiors. The nun, who is also a mother superior, is a Punjab-based Missionaries of Jesus congregation member. She was heading one of the two convents the congregation runs in Kerala. She alleged Mulakkal had raped her at the convent’s guest house. The police are yet to question Mulakkal, who has pleaded innocence saying he was being implicated for exposing financial irregularities at the convent.

Christian-watch forums are alerted and disturbed by such sexploitation and suppression of evidences[10]: UCAN News reported as follows[11], “A TV channel in Kerala has released a recording claimed to be of a telephone conversation between Cardinal Alencherry and the nun.The nun is heard referring to the continued harassment she and others suffer within the congregation, and the cardinal suggested she complain to Latin-rite bishops’ conference head Cardinal Oswald Gracias of Mumbai. The nun then seeks his help to get an appointment with Cardinal Gracias but Cardinal Alencherry refuses to do so. “You go to Mumbai and approach him directly,” the cardinal says”. The other Christian agencies have also been conciously worried about the revealing Christian sex crimes[12].  As Indian press has been so secular, liberal and has freedom, pehaps, it has started slowly bringing out facts. Or a situation has reached that the true Christians themselves cannot tolerate such crimes have been hoing on with the support of higher authorities like the cardinals and the Vatican[13]. Thus, it is amply proved to show how the Church and the Vatican run a parallel government controlling the Christians and protecting the criminals of all sorts, just to save bthe name of Christianity and the Vatican.

The Missionaries of Charities involved in “baby selling”: The home in eastern India’s Jharkhand state is run by Missionaries of Charity, the order set up by Mother Teresa to provide shelter for pregnant and unmarried women and their children[1]. For the services rendered by her much publicity was given and noble prize was also awarded. However, there had been allegations and accusations that she was helping pedophiles by allowing them to exploit the children in the orphanages. In fact, India has been exploited by the American and European pedophiles using “Sex tourism ” being carried on by the Missionaries, as has been exposed already by many cases that have gone up to Supreme court of India. In the present case, Indian police officer Aman Kumar said at least six babies have been sold to childless couples[2]. He said: “We are investigating to see how the operation was run and how many more children have been given away in the last few years.” The Missionaries of Charity did not respond to calls for comment. Arti Kujur, head of the Jharkhand State Child Protection Society, said the home was charging between £450 = Rs. 30,000/-  and more than £1,000 = Rs. 70,000/- for each baby, depending on what the childless couple could afford[3]. The money was reportedly paid as hospital fees.

The Nun involved has been a habitual offender caught only now: A member of the committee, Pratima Tiwari, told The Times of India that they realised a baby boy was missing during a routine inspection[4]. The Child Welfare Committee chairperson alleged that she filed a complaint after the couple – to whom the accused had given the child to – asked her to intervene, PTI reported. “The Uttar Pradesh-based family claimed that Anima Indwar, who handed over the child to them on May 14, 2018 called them up on July 1, 2018 and asked them to visit the shelter home for completing certain formalities,” Verma said. “When the child was brought to the shelter home, Indwar took the boy away.” She alleged that the accused had committed more crimes of this nature[5]. As more babies were reportedly sold, it is evident that the nun in question has been habitual offender, but, caught only now, because of the complaint and exposure. The child is currently in a government shelter for children.

Four babies were sold recently: According to the police, the two nuns allegedly sold four babies in Jharkhand as well as Uttar Pradesh[6]. This suggests that it was an inter-state child trafficking racket that the nuns were part of. The Church, school, convent, nunnery and the priests all keeping together nearby has been the root cause of all sorts of sexual related offences, crimes and violations, as being reported in the media and facts. As such crimes have been repeatedly appearing in media for the last 40 years and they have been increasing day by day, the matter should have been taken seriously. Unfortunately, in India, because of secularism, whenever, any crime is involved with the Christians and Muslims, they are treated differently. Even if they are suppressed and forgotten, the law enforcing authorities do not bother and the media, just covers up and keepm quite, as if nothing happens! Ranchi Deputy Superintendent of Police Shyamanand Mandal was quoted by news agency ANI as saying, “These nuns sold four babies – three in Jharkhand and one in Uttar Pradesh. Further investigation is underway.” An FIR has been registered under section 370 of the Indian Penal Code[7]. The FIR was reportedly registered by the Child Welfare Committee of Ranchi after an inspection.

After adoption, they adopted and adapted the “baby selling” as easy method: Kujur said: “We had been receiving many complaints regarding the functioning of this home and were keeping a close watch on them for nearly six months.” The Missionaries of Charity stopped organising adoptions in India in 2015 saying they disagreed with government rules that made it easier for single, divorced, and separated people to adopt children[8]. Kujur said his organisation had directed that the credentials of every home run in the state should be checked. “We hear that babies are being sold in other homes as well and are determined to put a stop to it.” After the exploitation of adoption methods and export of children to foreign countries, perhaps, the Missionaries of Charity have found put a new method to sell babies. Here, the babies of unwed mothers are taken and sold. “Unwed mothers” raise many questions, as the “Nirmal Hridhay” itself has such categories. In other words, such women cannot beget children, unless, they are impregnated and it is possible only by men. Then, who are such men allowed to mate with such women, how and why they are allowed and such other questions arise. It is a serious issue, as prostitution is also allowed in such transactions.

Sister Koncilia, a nun at Missionaries of Charity’s Nirmal Hriday home,  was arrested: Sister Koncilia, a nun at Missionaries of Charity’s Nirmal Hriday home, was arrested on 06-07-2018, Thursday for allegedly selling a child of an unwed mother[9]. Ranchi SSP Anish Gupta said, “Two arrests have been made. A worker at the home was arrested on 05-07-2018, Wednesday. We have also got the details of three children who were sold by them to different couples. We are in the process of verifying their addresses.” Nirmal Hriday, at Ranchi’s Jail Road, offers shelter for unwed minor mothers and differently-abled people. The home had 11 pregnant girls and around 75 differently-abled persons living there. Sister Koncilia was the head of the unwed mothers section[10].

11 pregnant women found shifted: CWC member Tanushree Sarkar said, “We have moved the 11 girls to Karuna Shelter home and sealed that section of Nirmal Hriday. The other section does not come under our jurisdiction, but we will try to get it sealed.” The committee will be shifting around 70 children who have been given shelter in Nirmal Shishu Bhavan, another branch of the organisation situated at Hinoo, to other homes on Friday. Sarkar said, “After the incident in one branch, we cannot trust the other branches of Missionaries of Charity and we will not be sending children to them for shelter from now on.” Sarkar said of the 11 pregnant girls at the home, at least three were never produced at CWC. “As per the law, any minor child in need of care and protection should first be produced before the committee,” she said. However, why the Missionaries of Charities have not been following rules and regulations and the CWC could only now point out. Had all been faithful enough to law of the land, they must have followed. Not that only, when, something has come out, all issues should be discussed, lacunae detailed and crimes committed demonstrated.

What Christians and minorities should ponder over and do?:

1. The issues – Selling of Babies, that too, born to unwed mothers are treated differently in many countries, including India.
2. The child trafficking, women trafficking and related crimes have been so serious and it is ridiculous to note that they are covered up by the Christians and other minorities under the guise of minority status or secularism or otherwise.
3. Suppression of such crimes could only spoil their society and as well ass Indian society.
4. The babies taking birth outside wedlock, before marriage etc., only expose the vulnerability of women, nuns etc., treated in the Christian and catholic churches.
5. The recent catholic priests raping faithful ladies expose such inhuman practices.
6. Maximum, the church authorities have bee trying to cover-up, huss-up and suppress within the church sexploiting power and money.
7. The “rogue-court” type proceedings would xdestroy the faith and belief system.
8. The christians should clean their sins and they cannot create more sin chambers by sinning even the confession boxes.
9. When surrogate mothers are encouraged, this type of crimes, perhaps, appear less criminal to such mind-set and psyche.
10. All sexual relted crimes should be treated, handled and offendes should be punished without any discrimination under thelaw of this land.

Five catholic priests repeatedly rape a married woman: Nowadays, the news goes in this way, “A man, husband of a woman who was sexploited by a group of Catholic priests, complained to Church authorities that his wife has been subjected to serial sexual abuse by the clergy by exploiting her confessional secrets”. Five Kerala priests from the Malankara Orthodox Church (MOC) were suspended on 23-06-2018, Saturday, that his wife has been subjected to serial sexual abuse by the clergy by exploiting her confessional secrets after an audio clip containing serious allegations of sexual assault and abuse of clerical power did the rounds on social media[1]. Three priests belong to Niranam diocese, one Thumpamon diocese and another from the diocese of Delhi. Here, the details given by the “Times Now” TV channel in English are available[2].  Here, the stand of the husband could be heard, as he talks apologetically, as if he does not want to go to police[3]. Audio / video clips expose the sexploitation: In the clip, a man alleges that his wife was assaulted by a priest before their marriage[5]. When she confessed to another priest, the man says, he blackmailed her into having sex with him, and threatened to tell her husband if she didn’t. He then sent a picture of himself with the woman to a third priest, who sexually assaulted her, the husband says. A spokesperson for the MOC P. C. Elias said the five priests were suspended pending an enquiry.  “We got a complaint from the woman’s husband but we have no idea about the truth of the allegations. An internal inquiry will be conducted and based on its outcome, the Church would decide whether to restore responsibilities to the priests or take further action, if the allegations are found to have substance”. The husband, who swears by his fidelity and commitment to the church, says details of a five star hotel bill in his wife’s mail box blew the lid off the scandal[6]. The man confides during the conversation that a priest had coerced her into an abusive relationship and the history of abuse predated their marriage. Overcome with guilt, the woman confessed to another priest before her child’s baptism. The confessor also turned predator and shared her pictures with another priest, who also took advantage of her plight[7].

The sex video changed hands and the woman was also sexploited accordingly: The video clip changed many hands within the clergy, the husband says during the conversation[8]. The man, seething with anger over being betrayed by the very people meant to guide him spiritually, fears more priests are involved and his wife hadn’t possibly told him the full story fearing reprisals from the influential clergy. He wants the priests to be defrocked for blackmailing a believer using her confessional secrets, considered a sacrilege. The man heard making the allegations in the audio clip hasn’t yet filed a police complaint. He says in the clip that he sent his wife back to her house, and that her family was trying to file a complaint against him. He also says elders from the community have called to dissuade him from complaining. In other words, the powerful church wants to suppress the whole sexploitation. When five Christian priests raped a married woman, they must have been arrested immediately, but the “suspension news” appears as cruel joke. It cannot be taken as an internal matter of them, as it involves serious sexploitation of married women. Ironically, the National Women Commission and other feminist organizations are keeping quiet. It is intriguing to not that the husband complained did not complaint to police. Then, what the man wants to do?

The media’s pathetic reporting: NDTV says[9], “Kerala Man Alleges Priests Sexually Abused Wife; Church Orders Probe”! It repeats the PTI news and does not comment more. It is quite intriguing, amusing and shocking to note that the way the media that claims so many things about their credibility, stand and other journalistic virtues report in this way[10]. So when Christian priests rape women, only, church is empowered to order enquiry and police are not required! News18 reported that they have been transferred! So if you want transfer, rape married woman in church! Any reader can The media has been pathetic, anesthetized and anti-women when issues like this comes, because, evidently, it is of Christians. But, in secular India, why and how the women are also are treated differently? The  Deputy Editor of the, Businessline has been reasonable, sensitive and dealt with the sensitive issue directly giving suggestion for action as follows.

Law of the land should deal with abuser priests of Kerala: The Malankara Orthodox Church, a wealthy and influential religious sect in the State, barred five of its priests from performing sacramental duties after allegations that they sexually abused a woman in Thiruvalla, a small town famous for its rich diaspora. Notwithstanding the suspension of the priests, the incident exposes the dark and ugly underbelly of religious institutions and the clergy, especially in Kerala where most factions of the church and organisations of other forms of faith command immense financial, social and political clout[11]. It is indeed shameful and shocking that the priests were able to blackmail the woman, who belonged to their own herd, by exploiting her own confession secrets and passing the information around, leading to further abuse. This and many similar incidents reported in the recent past expose the chinks in the counselling and confession apparatus of not just the church but also other religious organisations, pointing towards the need to demand more transparency in the operations of religious organisations, especially in the way complaints of abuse and exploitation are treated. Such incidents are, for sure, a blot on not just the Malankara Church but on all segments of Christian faith and casts a shadow over the way women and the vulnerable are treated.

The Church does not act like AMMA, the body of Malayalam film actors in Kerala: Already, there have been allegations that religious organisations function in alarmingly patriarchal way at a time pontiffs such as Pope Francis of the Roman Catholic Church, a stronger and larger force in Kerala, are calling for more gender sensitive policies and offering more avenues for women in the affairs of the church. Hence, the Malankara Orthodox Church must take appropriate action against the priests if found guilty and should let the laws of the land, not just the rules of the church, deal with them, especially given that many people including the believers have expressed fear that the maximum punishment these priests would meet could be a suspension, which will bring matters back to the normal sooner or later. Accused flees the scene after committing the crime: The Christian sexploitation cases have been on the increase as being pointed out. However, the church does not seem to bother about this. Now, again news has come about another Andhra pastor involved in illicit affair with married woman and murder! A pastor Warla Subbarayudu of Boyanapalle Dalitawada allegedly strangled to death a 30-year-old 36 [mentioned by “The Hans India”[1]] woman Kommi Indiramma, at Boyanapalle in Rajampet of Kadapa district[2]. Indiramma, who was married to Chengaiah and childless, lives in the house of her sister and brother-in-law, who had gone to work in Kuwait, and took care of their children. The couple used to send money to Indiramma through the pastor’s bank account[3]. In the process, an illicit relationship developed between them. The pastor came to her house and picked up an argument on 26-05-2018, Saturday evening alleging that she was speaking to somebody else and strangled her, by pushing away her sister’s children [Tarun and Kusuma, who tried to stop him from attacking Indira] who raised shrieks and bolting the door from inside[4]. When Chengaiah and local people came and broke open the door, they found Indiramma lying dead and Subbarayudu fled from the place, police said.

Why the hard-earned money should be deposited in the pastor’s account?: The intriguing factor has been that “The couple used to send money to Indiramma through the pastor’s bank account[5].” It is also not clear as who is the couple – whether Indiramma and Chengaiah or sister and brother-in-law. In any case, the deposit of money in pastor’s account raises many questions, because, they have to be at his mercy to get back / withdraw the money. Thus, the pastor got a chance to exploit the couple according to his whims and fancies. Even, here, also, at one stage, understanding the plot of the pastor, they could have avoided him or opened a separate account to deposit the amount. Otherwise, as bot the males are not there in the house and the women have been illiterate, the pastor took advantage and exploited them.

House inspected: After complaint to the police, they visited the crime spot to conduct their study. Rajampet DSP B. Lakshminarayana, circle inspector Narasimhulu and sub-inspector Mahesh and clues team personnel inspected the house. The body was sent to Rajampet Government hospital for post-mortem examination. The other formalities would be carried, as usual. After post-mortem, the body would be returned and the Church might help to bury, as a pastor is involved in the murder, so that the truth would be also buried with the body.

Case registered: A case was registered in Mannur police station. However, all cases involving the church are not reported as observed in other cases. In fact, even, this news has been published as local news and the national press has decided to do so, as obviously, a Christian pastor has been involved in the murder. Fromm YSR rule onwards, the AP church has been given soft corner and the govt. officials, particularly, Christians have been helping in suppression of crimes committed by the Christians by any means. They have been brainwashed in devoted and secular ways to save them in India.

The sexual crimes of Christian clergy in India: In India, the sexploitation of Christian priests have been increasing, alarming and nauseating, but, the media has been callously silent and indifferent. All sorts of sex violations, in fact leading murders and other serious crimes, have been reported, but, only few booked, adjudicated and jailed, whereas, most of others have been roaming with their frocks of different colours.  About Ram Rahim, the media blared, though, he has been a secular sexploiter. Had he been Hindu, the situation be different. After him, now comes Didde Ebenezer from Andhra. He has been virtually raping women for the last two years. Though Telugu media and local people have exposed, he has been roaming unscathed. The influence, he has with church or politics is inexplicable and not known.

Since 2015, Didde Ebenezer has been raping women: The victims informed the chairperson that the alleged misbehaviour of the pastor with young women was exposed in 2015 and a police case was booked. He has been exploiting women assuring them to make them to talk with God directly. However, for such divine exigency, certain rituals had to be followed, he insisted and explained to convince them. The poor women fell to his assurance and desire to talk with God agreed to be with him. Initially, he used to request favours like messaging his legs, hands, head and so on. Then, he used remove his shirt and asked them to message his back and front. In this way, indirectly, he induced them to develop instinct to have sex with him. Thus, he has been exploiting women regularly. In the house, where he was reportedly carried on such activities, used “Nirodh” packets were also found. Even after complaining to police, the women refused to return with parents. For this, one doctor explained that the women were mesmerized through some acts, so that they wanted to be with him only[6][3]. Moreover, they might have been drugged also, though he could not tell with confirmation, as such condition could be determined, only after testing. However, Ebenezer has been exploiting the women psychologically and physically.

When a pastor eloped with a girl: Irate residents of Dadithota village under Tadimari mandal attacked and damaged a local church on Tuesday night after its 51-year-old pastor allegedly eloped with a 15-year-old Dalit girl the same afternoon[7]. Bakkalapalli inspector V Anjayanelu said Rajeshwar Rao, who hails from Pulivendula in Kadapa district, was working as pastor of the Jerusalem Church in Dadithota village.On Tuesday, after the Dalit girl Saraswati completed her intermediate examinations, the two of them reportedly eloped. When villagers came to know about it at night, they attacked the church and damaged it completely[8].

Why Andhra infested with Christian sexploitation?: Meanwhile, a group of supporters of the pastor raised slogans in his favour claiming that he is a good person. They refuted the charges against him as fabricated. Using the church as his shield Andhra Pradesh pastor Didde Ebenezer committed a lot of crimes. Chief among them being sexually exploiting young girls and women of his parish, another newspaper pointed out[9]. It added that[10] “Earlier in September, there was another case of pastor abuse. The Renigunta rural police arrested Pastor Panneer Selvam, 54, for abusing a  minor near his house and allegedly forced himself on her.” That is why Andhra has been infested with the Christian sexploitation for many years has to be probed. Coming to Ebenezer, He does much publicity for himself and claims that[11] “he cares for HIV/AIDS through the social media Team members: Pastor.D.Ebenezer Didde, somebody”! So none knows that “nobody”. Evidently, he must have been wealthy enough to cover up everything and everybody to escape from the complaints and court proceedings.

Why more and more Christian religious heads involve in sexual crimes?: The Christian indulgences in sexual harassments, molestations and even rapes have been increasing and become order of the day, not only throughout the world, but also in India. Every day, news is coming about the involvement of Christian cardinal, bishop, pastor, priest and so on in the violations of Acts and rules of the land. Initially, they have been adjusting and compromising within the church and hence suppressing many such incidences do not come out and get published in the media. But, later, slowly, the violations exceeded limits and such contraventions warranted legal action, adjudication and persecution. Though, the church-related crimes have been increasing, the responsible religious heads have been trying to suppress, instead of bringing discipline in the church. The Jaipur sexual harassment issue has not been drawn attention of the media, though, much hue and cry has been made out for other sexual crimes. In Tamil media, virtually, there has not been no whisper is made about the issue.

Georgish Britto surrendered or tried to ran away hiding?: A Catholic priest has been sent to a jail in Rajasthan for allegedly sending an obscene message to a teenage girl student of his school. In one of the messages, the accused wrote – ‘Your husband is always waiting for you’. Police on April 20, 2018 arrested Father Georgish Britto, vice principal of St Anselm School in Alwar[1]. A case was registered against him two days earlier for texting the 15-year-old ninth grader[2]. He was arrested when he went to “surrender” to the police, Father Edward Oliveira, vicar general of Jaipur diocese, told Matters India on April 23, 2018. The school is managed by the diocese of Jaipur. Alwar is some 160 km northeast of Jaipur, the state capital and the diocesan headquarters. According to other reports, the accused vice principal fled to Dausa in a bus after he came to know about the police case[3]. He called up his friend in Alwar from Dausa. The police traced the call and a team was immediately rushed to Dausa and arrested from Lalsot Road[4]. He was brought to Alwar where he is being interrogated. Sources said that the man was “planning to flee” to his native village via Jaipur. So the catholic priest wanted to “surrender” to the police or “planning to flee” to his native village has to be decided by the God!

Why Georgish Britto was sending obscene messages and videos?: On Wednesday [18-04-2018], there was a huge drama at the school when the girl’s parents accompanied by members of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad and the Bajrang Dal protested against the school’s vice principal. Following this, senior police officials arrived at the school to pacify the protesters[5]. The girl’s family alleged that not only was the vice principal sending their daughter obscene messages and videos from the past few days, but was also forcing her to change her religion[6]. Local political leaders including MLA Banwari Lal Singhal also arrived at the school to take stock of the situation[7]. The protesting group alleged that the vice principal was hiding somewhere in the school and police is deliberately not arresting him[8]. Paul, the principal of the school, however, said that he was unaware about the vice principal’s activities. After the high-octane drama, IPS Anil Beniwal reached the spot and asked the girl’s father to report the matter. “The vice principal has been booked under the POSCO Act and search is on to find him,” Beniwal said. The girl had not complained about the obscene messages earlier, obviously afraid of the school authorities.

Georgish Britto – can he capable of giving counselling to the girl?: According to the Times of India, the administration called in additional forces to keep the situation under control. While the protestors argued with the cops; the parents accused the school of shielding their teacher. Father Oliveira said the girl’s brother beat Father Britto on April 20, 2018. The vicar general said Father Britto, who was ordained hardly a year ago, had counseled the girl’s family to sort out some domestic problems. How can he indulge in such activities of counselling the girl is intriguing. The girl’s elder brother had also studied in the same school. The girl apparently developed some “infatuation” toward the young priest and used her father’s mobile to message him at night after her father went to sleep, the vicar general explained. This type of counter accusation by the Church and clergy expose their ugliest side of sexual harassment that has been going on in many Christian schools. However, the father caught the girl chatting with the priest and complained to the police. So the fact has been more clear than the Christian attempts of suppressimg the facts, in spite of their position, status etc.

In one of the messages, the accused wrote – ‘Your husband is always waiting for you’: This cleararly exposed his non-educative, non-catholic and indiscipline attitude and sexual mindset of the priest. Ironically, this has been the characteristic of the Christian church and clergy in India and the world also. Father Britto was arrested under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act of 2012, a stringent law to end abuses of minors[9]. Father Oliveira said the groups had accused the vice principal of trying to convert the girl and fondling her, besides sending lewd messages[10]. The vicar general said the junior priest had admitted that he only sent the message to the girl but denied other charges. “He admitted what he had done was imprudent and wrong. What has happened is very sad,” he added. The school authorities reportedly claimed that the student had never complained about such messages. But, the school authorities have not been so naïve to leave the girl, particularly, when she complained to the police. Father Oliveira said the accused priest had to remain in jail until May 5, 2018. “We can move for bail only after that,” he added.

The arrogant attitude of the Church: Here, also, evidently, the national media though silent, the few covered the incidence tried to dub the excessive reaction of the so-called “right-wing” groups. Ironically, the letter of Oswald J. Lewis dated 24-04-2018 addressed to “Clergy, Religious & Laity, and Catholic Diocese of Jaipur” has been intriguing and shocking.  “In times of trial, uncertainties, and hardships we have only one source of consolation – Jesus the Good Shepherd. We turn to him in prayer. I hereby request you to fast and pray that we may tide over this situation and that Fr. Georgish Britto may have the strength and courage to bear the cross that the Lord has given him. Do pray for Paul Pulikal too that he be guided and strengthened by the Holy Spirit. Thanking you for your understanding of the situation sympathetically and praying for us.” This clearly proves that the Christian heads have not regretted, apologized and repented for the sinful crimes and criminal sins committed, but with theological arrogance, tried to justify such heinous sexual crimes, coolly forgetting the affected girls and women of India.

In secular state, crimes cannot be justified with theology: Crime is a crime and it has to be dealt with according to the law of the land, but, when it is justified, vindicated and defended based on religion, theology and other illegal means, then, there is a reason to believe that the offenders, wrongdoers and criminals are protected. Then, as a pattern is noted in such perpetrated crimes for the last 50 years, it is nothing but organized crime carried on under the guise of religion by a particular group or believers. When the country is secular, the criminals cannot be treated differently, just because, he is a Christian and his theology helps him to escape from crimes committed. But, the Bishop’s letter quoted above clearly proves that the Christians have such extraneous mysticism, illegal spirituality and illegitimate holiness means to cover up crimes of all sorts by divine theology. This is very dangerous in a secular state, democratic polity and civil society and therefore, every citizen of India has right to expose such heinous ideology, atrocious philosophy and dreadful dogma paraded as acceptable religion and bring the criminals to court for prosecution and punishment.

On Deepavali day, complaint lodged by AP Women’s Commission chairperson: Didde Ebenezer has been evidently notorious and the victims exposed him. Expressing concern over the way a pastor allegedly subjected young women to sexual exploitation, AP Women’s Commission chairperson Nannapaneni Rajakumari, during her visit to Jagannadhapuram village of Tadepalligudem mandal in West Godavari on 18-10-2017 [Wednesday], instructed the police to arrest him and rescue four women reportedly confined by him[1]. Several women narrated to Ms Rajakumari how they were victimised by pastor Didde Ebenezer under the guise of running a Church at Jagannadhapuram[2]. “He would start by asking us to do simple things like giving him a massage, and then move his way up to more unspeakable actions. He would say that we have to follow whatever he says, or else something evil would befall us, no matter how disgusting his demand is,” a victim told media persons. Another victim alleged that the pastor was organise ‘special prayers’ and make women stand in the nude, in candle light. They also claimed that four women were under confinement with the pastor at present. The locals also alleged that the pastor’s male relatives also indulged in acts with women in the village. In other words, mass sex exploitation has been going in the name of god, church and divine activities.

Nude prayers conducted with candle lit: The police made enquiries at the houses of the victims and others. According to the victims, the pastor was exposed in 2015 and a police case was booked. The man, however, reportedly managed to get the case struck off in a local court with his influence, they alleged. In one case, he promised to marry a victim, but later refused. He tried to settle with her in a different manner. This was revealed by her narration to TV9 channel[4]. Later, he shifted his accommodation to Madhuru village to avoid trouble at Jagannadhapuram village. This is also evidently to avoid the legal implications of jurisdiction and all. The victims said that the pastor was targeting good looking young women and was even organising candle-lit prayers with the women in the nude[5]. The Tamil media also carried the story[6]. Obviously, it has been picked up from Deccan Herald[7]. Though, the media has not explained the significance of “nude worship”, it is detailed below in the Chriatian context.  They informed her that four women were under confinement with the pastor at present.

Victims explained how they were sexploited: Shocked at the ordeal of the women victims, Ms Rajakumari called up West Godavari SP M. Ravi Prakash and instructed him to arrest the pastor and get the four women released and handed over to the Women’s Commission. “We will immediately take him into custody, and free the women who are allegedly under confinement. We all had tears in our eyes when we heard the victims speak. This is not a normal incident. He has played with people’s life in a holy place like a church. We will prosecute him,” Rajakumari told locals, after the public meeting[8]. West Godavari Joint Collector said[9], “The allegations are shocking. We will ensure that he loses the title of ‘pastor’ and take strict action against him. We will find all the people responsible for the incident and assure action against all of them.” Later, she assured the women that she would fight on the issue until all the victims get justice. She said that as Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu was on a foreign tour, she would take it up to his notice to take stern action against the erring pastor after his return to the state.

Why Nude worship in Church and how it is allowed?: In 21^st century, one should ask as to how the nude worship is allowed in church and the Christians approve it. It is evident that it is allowed in USA under the guise of theology. Pastor Allen Parker, the leader of White Tail Chapel in the town of Southampton, said he came to the decision to allow naked worship after concluding the clothing requirements of other churches were overly ‘pretentious’, and decided his own flock should be free to forgo such materialism if they desire[13]. He believes he is in good company too, claiming many of the most important moments in the Bible happened while the protagonists were nude, including Jesus’ crucifixion and resurrection[14]. Speaking to CNN, Parker said: ‘When he [Jesus] was born he was naked, when he was crucified he was naked and when he arose he left his clothes in the tomb and he was naked.’ ‘If God made us that way, how can that be wrong?’ he added.

Nudity started from Genesis and hence Christians can indulge in nude worship: Parker is believed to have drawn at least some of his opinions on nudity from the book of Genesis, in which Adam and Eve were originally described as ‘both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed’. It was only after sinfully eating forbidden fruit from the Tree of Knowledge that Adam and Even are said to have seen their nudity as shameful, at which point they sowed fig leaves into loincloths. Although the church allows worshipers to attend services fully naked, many have decided they would rather continue to attend fully clothed, particuarly when in mid-winter, while others opt to just reveal their breasts or genitals. The idea is that nudity is ‘the great equaliser’, reminding all those gathered in the church that they are simple human beings and that, beneath any personal wealth or glamorous outward appearance, they are all more of less the same beneath the clothing. ‘There’s not a feeling that you have to be better than one another, physically. We’re humans, we have scars, we have what we have. It’s learning to love and accept that,’ Parker says.

Christian Nude worship or mass sex exploitation or group sex – what has been going on?: But, how in India it is allowed is a question. In Karnataka, when women were practicing exclusively such worship without any controversy, the modernized persons made it controversy and banned it[15]. Here, ironically, the Christians not only tacitly accepting, but also justifying indirectly However, the sexploitation of many women nearly 20 as reported by the Telugu media by Ebenezer has been monstrous, gruesome and grotesque and cannot be allowed on any account. Strangely, all the liberals and torch bearers who give sermon on toleration and all are keeping quite. None could imagine that they do not read this news, as this has been going on for three years.

SHIMOGA March 4. The Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate, Tushar Girinath, has imposed ban orders in connection with the annual jatra of Renukamba at Chandragutti in Sorab taluk. The jatra is scheduled to be held from March 9 to 14. The ban has been imposed to prevent “bettale seve” (worship in the nude). The order bans the congregation of people during the jatra within a radius of 5 km. of the temple under the provisions of the Section 35 of the Karnataka Police Act. Mr. Girinath has allowed the performance of rites during the jatra. He has passed an order banning sale of liquor during the jatra time in a radius of 5 km. of the temple. The Chandragutti jatra was marred in 1986 when enthusiastic activists tried to stop the devotees from worshipping in the nude. The angry devotees retaliated. In the melee, volunteers and police personnel were attacked and paraded naked.
